A truth - III

Before I could even reach the doors, they opened and Marilyn stepped out. Her eyes widened at the sight of me running towards her, and she stepped back, giving me space to come into the room.

I stopped shortly, and she closed the door behind me. Turning towards her, we crossed the distance towards each other before I enveloped her in a hug.

It was until then I could control my feelings. After that, everything broke, and I started to cry.

Every feeling that I had felt from the beginning to the moment until now, everything came crashing towards me, and I cried as loudly as I could. I have no fear that anyone could hear me, because in that moment, I was with someone I cared about truly.

"I—" she stuttered, "I do not know what's going on, but the way you are crying, princess, I am scared, is everything alright?"

I shook my head into her shoulder. I was not alright. Nothing was alright. Everything had gone bad!
