StrongHold~12

The four laid with the kid who sleep embracing the ball.

"So are we stuck here?" Oak asked as she waited for answer from her friends.

"Maybe, a while ago the face powder or face foundation for make up that women uses displayed the word Leave and Live." Nod informed.

"Then may I should turn the handle again?" Stripe raised.

Nod agreed as he reveal the cosmetics equipment. Stripe tried to do the same but nothing happen. The rear mirror spilled.

"Not your turn."

Oak saw that the letter L from the wheel got scraped and is now a ornaments of engraves.

"Does this mean we completed this one L?" She asked.

"Maybe. .. wait before we analyze how to be out of her we need to take note what happens here." Hue stated.

"Like a reflection?" Nod asked.

"So we can touch the ball which is important to the boy." Nod started.

"But other than that we are like ghost. They can't see us." Oak added.

"It means that we are invisible protectors. So all we need to do is identify the item that is important and use it to fight." Hue wrapped up.

"Then we can now complete this Caller's Spring. Does that mean we will only be done here when we go through each letter on this tiny wheel?" Stripe pointed as he tilt his head staring at the foundation in his hand.

"Could be, the main issue is how are we going to keep it going. We don't know who is qualified to turn the handle next. It's like a wheel of fortune." Hue notified as he stare at the item.

"How about taking turns?" Oak suggested.

The boys agreed as they glance at each other.

Nod took the handle next but it did not move. Hue tried next to Nod but nothing really occured. Oak used her index finger to move the tiny handle and the it spinned.

The wheel stopped on the letter "S"

The mirror portrayed the word "STAIN."

The four got vacuumed by the face powder and was face to face on post war location. Bullets all over the place. Guns were bloody. People are piled up like garbage and are dead.

"Guys, I think this means we are in the warzone." Stripe screeched.

Not long after the sound of gunshot was heared then the place went silent for a moment. Then bombs started dropping from the sky. Hue and Oak avoided the bomb but Stripe and Nod hugged each other as they shrilled.

The bomd exploded but just like the last time they were unharmed.

"I thought I will be blown in pieces!" Nod confessed as he examine himself.

"Me too!" Stripe cry out in a high pitch tone as he walk over Hue's side.

The bomb raining halted but all the body piled up in their face were scrambled like it was nothing.

Hue and Stripe covered their mouth as they started to feel vomiting. Nod was blankly staring. His muscle were tensed as he witness something indescribable.

Nod halted to glance at Oak who is now crying blood. Nod thought that it was splashed im her face so he tried to wipe it but the blood rains down from her eyeballs.

Nod froze and shook Oak who was just resuming to cry out with blood. Nod called Hue and Stripe for help but the two seemed to have known her case.

"We can just let her cry it out." Stripe softly spoken.

"Hold her hand we will move to a better location." Hue instructed Nod.

Nod held on Oak's hand and glasses as they walked through the place. They found a tent and cleared it up. Hue and Stripe fixed it and set up for Oak to settle in.

"Leave her for now." Hue instructed since Oak shut her eyes and fell asleep

Nod did as Hue advised and followed him by the side. Stripe gathered some food they can eat but he can't touch them. The only way they were able to fix the tent was through the belt of bullets.

"What was wrong with Oak's eyes?" Nod asked.

Hue paused for a while before speaking.

"She have a rare eye disease."

Nod blinked trying to internalize the information he acquired. He blindly tells her that he like her but he really does not know anything about her. He thought that her glasses are for disguise and fashion but he was wrong. Nod manage to form the question he want to ask.

"What... what kind of rare is that?"

"I don't know if I should be the one telling you this but it is a disease known as Haemolacria: Bloody tears." Hue admitted.

"What does it mean?" Nod asked.

Hue bowed his head and explained.

"It is a disease that is known as bleeding from the eyes sounds unsettling and unreal, but it's a legitimate condition and, though the symptom is spooky, it's relatively harmless."

Nod was speechless he glanced back to check on her. Hue continued to enlighten him.

"According to most recorded cases, a person with haemolacria don't need to be crying for bleeding to occur — it starts and stops without warning and varies in frequency and duration. Most cases of haemolacria are not painful and resolve on their own. This means the bloody tears occur sporadically and have no known cause."

Nod sat by Oak's side and watched her. He wipe her face with his palm since they can't touch anything. He felt how warm her face was but the blood from her eyes did not portrayed it that way. It made her looked pitiful. The blood dried unto his hands as Oak got rested.

Stripe manage to create a food by using the belt of bullet they found inside the tent. They went through a horrible day. It was tirring and surprising but at the same time it was fantastic. They were like in a mission a fantastic and awesome one. The tent pitched for them get colder as the sun sets.
