S1 Chapter 6

Kayden asked, "Hey, you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you. It's just that I feel nauseous whenever I overuse my power. And by the way, I'm Emily. Thank you for saving my life," Emily replied.

"You're welcome. And you saved my life too. I'm Kayden. Kayden Brock. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too," Emily replied.

Kayden added, "Come on. Let me help you to go to the infirmary. You need first aid."

"Looks like you need it too."

"Huh?"

Kayden looked at his hand which was bleeding.

Kayden said, "That's just a small scratch. You needn't be worried about it."

"No, you're wrong. If not treated fast it may become infectious. So you need to come with me to the infirmary," Emily replied.

"Ok, ok. Let's go."

On the other side :-

Headmaster ,"Wow. That kid's good. He managed to defeat the giant."

All Might replied, "Hmm. He has just shown the main characteristics of a hero. That is self sacrifice and bravery."

Tony Blake added, "I already told you. I'm very good in selecting talents. This kid will surely be a legend in the future. We should root for him as much as possible."

Headmaster, "This year's kids are very talented. You all have done good job."

In The Infirmary :-

"Hey, are you alright?" Kayden asked.

"Yes, I'm fine. What about you?" Emily asked.

Kayden replied, "I'm fully healed."

Emilie added, "Hehe. That's not possible. The cut was deep. How could it heal so quickly? Don't joke, Kayden."

Kayden replied, "I'm not joking. I'm serious. It's fully healed. If you want, you can see for yourself."

"Wow, that's a miracle. How did it happen?"

"You know what, ever since I have awakened my superpower, my healing ability has become super fast. It heals instantly."

"That's amazing, Kayden. So, it's like you don't feel pain?"

"No, I do feel pain but minimum."

"Oh, so that's it."

"By the way, you look beautiful, Emilie."

"You're quite a handsome guy too."

"Hehe. Thanks."

"Hey, you two. Will you please stop flirting? My heart pains," said an unknown voice.

Emily looked around and asked, "Huh? Who is it?"

Kayden became shy and replied, "We.. we are not flirting."

"Of course, you are. By the way, hello, I'm Simon," Simon introduced himself.

"So, Simon.. you said your heart is paining. Is it alright? Should I call a doctor?" Kayden asked.

"Hey, it's not like that. It's just because you two are so lovey dovey that I'm jealous. I have always been single and whenever I try to approach a girl, they run away from me because they think I am weird. And today I tried to all flashy and strong but was knocked down with a punch. I'm so weak. Nobody likes me."

"I was like that too before I got my superpower. I cried and struggled. Everyone was bullying me. But after I recieved my powers I trained hard with the help of Professor All Might and here I am."

"Eh? All Might?" Emily was shocked.

"Yes. He is my personal tutor," Kayden replied.

"Whoa. Then you must be rich, right?" asked Simon.

"No, I'm not. It was arranged by Mr Blake," Kayden added.

Simon asked, "Mr... Mr Blake? You mean Tony Blake?"

"Yes."

"Woah, I didn't know that you knew Mr Blake. Kayden, you're amazing," Emily said.

"It's nothing much."

Emilie asked, "But how do you know him?"

Kayden replied, "Actually, you know, that meteor accident?"

"Oh yes, I heard that the meteor was destroyed by a teenager."

Simon added, "I heard about it too. I wonder how strong that boy could be."

"Actually, that's me. So, from then I know Mr Blake," Kayden replied.

"What? It's you?"

"Well, it makes sense since Mr Blake visited you personally," Emily continued.

"Man, you're great."

"Well, I think we need to properly introduce ourselves again. I'm Kayden Brock. My superpower is Boost."

"I'm Emily Kempton. My superpower is Telekinesis."

"I'm Simon Clarke. My superpower is Electricity."

Kayden asked, "You can produce electricity?"

"I can produce electricity, control electricity and give my opponent a million volts shock."

"A million volts?"

"Yes but after using that move I will faint."

"It must be because of overuse of power."

"Yes."

Suddenly the doctor came towards them.

"You are all now completely healed. You may leave now."

Kayden asked, "Can we?"

"Yes. But it's quite surprising that your wound has healed so fast."

Kayden replied, "It's the same for me too. We will leave now. Bye."

They left towards the academy dormitories.

After the exams, the students were supposed to stay in the dormitories until the results.

The passing students could study in the Mutant Hero Academy while the failed students had to train more and retake the exam in the upcoming year.

Knowing these facts the trio headed to the dormitory building.

There were no separate dormitories for girls and boys.

It was a single building which was huge.

As soon as they entered the building, they were welcomed by three familiar figures.

They were Professor All Might, Tony Blake and the headmaster.

As soon as they saw the trio entering the building they rushed towards them.

All Might said, "Kayden Kun, you were amazing back there."

Tony Blake added, "Yes, yes, he's amazing. After all he's my recruit."

"Hey, you may have recruited him but I'm his master."

Headmaster stopped them by saying, "Alright, alright. Stop fighting, you both. Look at Kayden Kun. He's irritated."

They both were fighting among themselves when two of the spectators were terrified at the scene.

"Ah, what's going on?" asked Emily.

"They both are fighting over Kayden," Simon replied.

"Hey Kayden, who exactly are you in the world?"

"What if I say I'm just a common person."

"I don't believe it. Tell me. Is Mr Blake your illegitimate father?"

"Hey, stop that. What's with that weird imagination you've got?"

"It's nothing like that."

Emily asked, "But then why are they fighting?"

"I don't know."

"Hey, you guys, what's going on?" Kayden asked.

Headmaster replied, "I can only say one thing that I understand."

"What's it, Headmaster?"

"They are fighting over a precious talent."

"Wait. When did I become a precious talent?"

"I'm no precious talent."

Both All Might and Mr Blake said together, "Yes, you are."
