After the crap they went through when dealing with the Forged Feather Dragon Vulture and the Buddhist elder Phanra, Lythero and Zhen Liu figured that their best course of action was to take a couple of detours before heading to Amber Shore or the wandering ruins that had manifested near by it.

They figured that going directly to the port town would be a bad idea, since it meant that it was highly likely for the hunting camp that they had technically pissed off to head in the same direction as them.

However, since they were going on such a round about route, this gave them a chance to do some good old fashioned training and resource gathering.

Normally, such a task would be a pain in the ass. However, the kaijin and the zakos were around to help make it less of an issue.
