Surprised

"Great, Dracula One is here" I say rolling my eyes, causing a snicker from Augustus, even Jake cracked a smirk. "Dont look him in the eye, your not worthy."

He ignored my comment, and looked at Gus then to Jake then to me. "What are you doing here?

Jake grabbed my arm, "Phina lets go." He said while giving the other two dirty looks.

I yanked my arm from him reminding him I was still pissed off about what had happened, then turned to Dracula One."I'm sorry but did I miss the part where I made you in charge of my life Dracula One?"

"Phina." Jake said from beside me. "Don't talk to those bloodsuckers."

Persues was glaring at Him. "And here I thought dogs knew their place." Jake growled and was about to jump on him, I could feel it.

"Hey, calm down. Don't let it get to you." I whisper, putting my hand on his arm. I could feel him shaking, I turned around to face Dracula one.

"Excuse me? You don't just walk in here and start insulting people ." How dare he call Jake a dog. Wait. "You just call them a bloodsucker?" I ask Jake confusion clearly written on my face.

Now Jake was glaring at Dracula One or Perseus or whatever you wanted to call him.

"What is actually going on here? Calling me human, calling him a dog... and you? A blood sucker? What the heck is going on here? Some one explain before I loose my mind!" I yelled at them then turned around to face Gus, who had a smile on his face. "And what are you? A wizard?"

"Not exactly." He said with humor in his voice.

I screamed, I was about to loose my mind with these three. "Jake, your my best friend. Why aren't you telling me? I understand them but you to?" Then I looked at Dracula one and Gus. "And why are you guys here?"

"Well, you weren't in the book store-" Gus started but was cut off by Jake.

"Wait, you guys hung out together at the store?" He asked, I could hear the protectiveness in his voice.

I nodded earning a wink from Gus.

"At the library? You know what he could have done to you-" And I cut him off.

"NO! I don't, if you would explain maybe I would!" And with that I walked off and Jake followed me.

I made it clear I didn't want to talk to him and I went home.

Hours later, I laid in my bed, trying to clear my head of everything that had happened. A shower had helped get my thinking straight. Just when I thought I had peace and quiet, the door bell ringed. Ignored it, rang again and again. Pissed of, I went downstairs and yelled, "Jake go away!" I knew it would be only him to disturb me at this hour.

No one answered back, "Uh, Jake?" I yelled again this time less confidently.

"In your room!" I heard Jakes voice respond back. I ran upstairs to my room. "I was going to come and check up on you earlier, but thought it was best to let you calm down first." He said as I burst into my room.

"Jake ." I said slowly. "How are you in my room?"

"I ringed the bell, and you didnt answer. So I climbed in from your window." He answered back calmly.

I shook my head at him, "Jake I thought I made it clear that I didn't want to talk to any one."

"Phina, please."

"Out Jake." I answered back crossing my arms on my chest.

"No." He said staring right into my eyes. "I'm not leaving."

"Jake-" I started but he cut me off.

"Phina, you can feel they're different cant you?"

I wanted to say no, but I knew that was a lie. I looked down at my bare feet.

"And I know your wondering about them." Jacob stated.

"I'm wondering a lot of things." I whisper softly. "Jake, please I want to be alone."

"That's it. You really want to know?" He grabbed me, picked me up bridal style, and before I could complain or even scream, he jumped out of my window and into the night.

I closed my eyes, as he ran through the forest. I heard his voice say. "Open your eyes and see" And with that, I followed his command. I opened my eyes to see. We were going faster then any human known, he ducked and jump so easily through the forest, while holding on to me. I snuggled into his warm body. Even with him wearing a shirt, he was really toasty. And with that we came to a halt. "Enjoyed the ride?" I could hear the smirk in his voice.

"Shut it." I whispered. I looked at his face, "And don't bother lying to me, I know your a werewolf." I said.

Hearing what I said, he almost dropped me on the ground. "What?" He asked confusion on his face. "Phina, how did you know?" He asked quietly.

"Well, I seen you transfer."

He was waiting for more.

"Well, remember a year ago how I was sick for a few days, the day after we went to the movies? And I didn't want us hanging out cause I didn't want you catch something? Well after the movies, I forgot I still had your jacket, and I wanted to return it back. And... " I closed my eyes. "I saw you turn into a werewolf."

"Phina, do you know how stupid that was of you? You could have gotten hurt." He said biting down his anger. "You have no idea how bad I want to yell at you right now. Do you know what would have happened if I thought you were an enemy? I could never live with myself if I hurt you."

"But I'm fine Jake." I tell him trying to reassure him. "Please calm down." Then I looked closely at him. "Your eyes are turning pitch black."

He sighed. "I'm sorry." He pulled me into a tight hug then put me down and sat by a tree. I sat in between his legs and wrapped his arms around me. He smiled and mumbled something under his breath.

"What was that?" I ask

"I said, so you known for a whole year and didn't tell me?" Jake asked, trying to cover up.

"Well, I didn't know how. I mean I would gladly ask for help, but I'm pretty sure there isn't a source for, what to do when you found out your best friend is a werewolf."

He chuckled.

"Jake." I say.

"Hmm?"

I turn around to face him, "Could you turn into a werewolf right now?"

"Yeaa."

"Will you?" I asked.

"What? NO. Of course not. What if I hurt you?"

"But you would never hurt me. Please Jake."

"No Phina." He answered back.

I got up, "You know I don't have to forgive you still. After everything this still doesn't explain-" I stopped. "Are Gus and them werewolfs to?"

"I really don't want to talk about them Saraphina, but I can tell you they're not werewolfs." He said and I could tell he was getting angry again.

"Okay okay, we don't have to talk about them. I just want to know whats going on." I say as a wind hits me and I shiver.

Jake looks at me with concern in his eyes, "Are you cold? Maybe I should have asked you to wear warmer clothes." He said looking up and down my body earning him a blush from me. I was wearing shorts, and a big shirt that covered them.

"Well, it would be nice to have a warm wolf to cuddle against." I stated.

Hes face hardened and jaw clenched,"No."

"Please?"

"No." He repeated. His face had no emotion.

Another wind hit me, causing me to shiver. His hard face softened up. "Let me take you home."

"No." I sighed. "You know I don't have to forgive you for lying to me. Hiding your true self from me, I told you everything Jacob. You gained my trust after everything I went through. And now you do this to me." With that I turned around and started walking.

And a few seconds later, I hear a growl behind me and I smirk.

With the smirk I turn around. The man that was standing in front of me was gone. Now in his place was a snow white wolf.

My mouth dropped open. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. He was huge, much taller then his human form. The only thing that was same was his warm brown eyes. "Jake... this is..."

Now he was the one wearing the smirk.

"Do you understand me?" I asked astonished.

He gave me a small nod. I smiled and walked until I was right in front of the huge werewolf. His clear eyes burning a hole on me. "Jake, your beautiful." I whisper running my fingers through his soft fur. And without noticing what I was doing, I hugged him.
