"Cellist." Novella rushed to the person while Cleo slowed down, a furrow appearing on its face.
"Were we … too late?" It asked as Ace continued to look at the person in front of him, laying in Novella's arms.
The clouds started to disappear one after the other as the skies turned completely black. With no a single light in sight except the ones coming from the wings of the person in front of them.
"Oh no," Cleo mumbled looking at the skies. "I think we are too late."
Chewing at his lower lip, Ace noticed that the light was still coming from the person, dimming every second but it was still there.
"Cleo. Go to them."
"I don't know if that is very safe, Ace."
"Please."
Cleo looked at the boy for a second before sighing, "Alright. Once Cellist dies, the entire place will come crashing down. I doubt he has enough mana to even give you anything."
