"What are you smiling about or is it only my sight that keeps you happy?" Vincent asked teasingly with a smile playing on his lips.
Quinn chuckled, "Yes, it is. Seeing you does make me happy, my King."
He chuckled deep in his throat, "You took the words right out of my mouth, my Queen."
Just then they saw Lady Aida walking from the right side with a man wearing a long white robe. They walked down the path to the King and Queen. Vincent and Quinn were both surprised that they would interrupt a feast like that. Quinn hoped that Lady Aida was not going to start any drama especially in front of their royal guests.
Lady Aida reached them with the man in a white robe. They bowed to their waist and straightened up. Lady Aida glanced at Vincent, ignoring Quinn as she said, "Your Majesty, I have been diagnosed with a deadly illness that this honored physician found flowing in my veins."
