Two mothers one son

"Rolam, dear, it's going to be ok now. Mum will blow away all the pain for you," came a soft voice of a female that could soothe the ears and lull one to sleep.

Rolam tried to open his eyes but he was welcomed by a splitting headache. It felt like a hammer banging in his head. The more he tried to open his eyes, the more he felt pain from his head. He finally gave up trying and surrendered to the world of slumber.

He heard the same voice say, "Wake up Rolam, is the pain still there?"

He sensed something warm caressing his forehead gently. Apart from his sister, Zyda, his mother had this habit of caressing him whenever he got ill. He felt comfortable from the touch and for a moment, his aching head stopped tormenting him. Finally, he got the energy and opened up his eyes. He came face to face with a familiar face he longed to see.
