"Humans are weird though. How can you get used to being around them and their confusing nature?" Apryl asked, looking out across the campus. 
"You get used to it after some time, plus it's not like we're the only ones who live among the humans." Keith replied, shrugging as he looked over the campus as well. 
This story follows Apryl Dark, eldest daughter of the Dark Mountain wolf pack as she and her family adjust to living among humans and the trials that face them. 
The book may start out slow, but there will be a mix of both romance and action as the story progresses.

Romance Among Humans

Chester wasn't thrilled about it, but there was no way he was going to be able to get Keith to change his mind about the matter. He had somehow managed to convince Apryl to stay with him.

His place was further away from the school that her house was. That wasn't a problem for him though considering he had a car. They would likely be able to get to school quicker with him driving than she did walking each day.

"I don't think that there is anything that you need to worry about between the two of them. I am sure that they will be able to work it out." Callum tried to assure the other who was only able to half focus on the presentation that they were working on.
