Fox’s Lover

For Lilli having Shiro awake and with her is like a dream but for Shiro not so much. 


Shiro looks around and wonders to himself.


"Where is this place, why am I really here? Not understanding why he is not in the mountains where he is from. Why did the goddess-mother look so lovingly at this human girl? Every noise feels like a knife in my ears I just want to go home." Shiro takes Lilli by the hand turning her to face him. His eyes are the color of a storm with a slit not like that of a human. Seeing this she smiles sweetly and places a pair of sunglasses on to cover his eyes. 


"Let's go back, all this sunlight and noise must be bothering you after such a long sleep. "Talking softly as she leads him back to his room. Once there Lilli closes the curtains and makes the room somewhat darker. 


"Yes, thank you for bringing me back. May I ask why am I here and not near the mountain home?" Shiro asks Lilli.
