The Reason Behind Jenny's Problem

Jenny was one of the Inner Academy Disciple. Her master was naturally a highly skilled master. Even though her master could be called a trash in other academies, the fact that he is one of the best in the Sacred Wind Academy never changes.

Even her master failed to find the solution despite narrating her problem to her master in detail. And yet, Jenny didn't tell her problem to this librarian, and yet he told her issues with a single glance? How could she not be stunned?

Ethan ignored her question and continued, " If my guess is right, you have affinity with Metal and Darkness. Am I right?"

"How did you know?" ,Jenny was terrified. There are ten natural elements on which base the cultivation carries on. They are Fire, Water, Metal Wood, Light, Darkness, Wind, Earth, Time and Space.

Everyone had affinity with at least one natural element. They could make their achievements based on those ten natural elements. They could train in the cultivation techniques which were prepared from any one of these ten natural elements that has affinity with their body.

Jenny has the elemental affinity with Metal and darkness. But she never told this to anyone. Only her master knew this. And yet this Ethan could tell this just from her problem. How is this possible?

Ethan sighed and said, "Well, this is exactly you are messing up. I have one last question before I give you explanation. You are training in Sword arts, right?"

"Yes." ,Jenny felt that she might have found the right person for her problem. So she composed herself and decided to hear what Ethan had to say first.

Ethan nodded his head and said, "Stop using swords from now on. I ask you to switch with sabre."

"Sabre? But why?" ,Jenny frowned and asked, "I have the affinity with metal as well. What's wrong with me using sword?"

Ethan smiled and explained, "It is true that you have affinity with metal element. But your body has more affinity with darkness than the metal element. It is true that both swords and sabre comes under metal element. You could use both of them. But the sword is the symbol of light. And the Sabre is the symbol of evil. Or in other words, darkness."

Ethan continued, "You don't know this and trained in sword techniques. When you practice in sword arts, the energy particles of light enters your body in order to further strengthen your internal organs. But during breathing exercise, the energy particles of light try to merge with the darkness energy which stems up from your body. But the light is yang and the darkness is yin. How could they merge?"

Ethan sighed and continued, "This is the reason why you feel pain in your body. When you are asleep, both the energy particles and darkness from your body fights against each other as it is impossible for them to coexist. This opposite nature resulted in producing a violent chaos energy. This violent chaos energy is the reason why you are feeling this pain. At the beginning, it was bearable. But as you keep training in the sword arts, the more light energy particles will enter in your body. This will increase in that violent chaos energy to intensify. If this energy expands, then your meridians has the chance to explode which results in you becoming a cripple for the rest of your life!"

Jenny was stunned. She thought that her problem was just the minor one. But she never imagined that it was serious to such an extent. Becoming a cripple for the rest of their lives is worse experience than death. How could they take it.

Jenny obviously didn't want to become a cripple as well. She was scared. She became nervous almost instantly.

Ethan knew what was going through Jenny's mind. He said, "Sabre is a different story. Sabre is the symbol of evil. Evil originated from darkness. Since your body has the affinity with the Darkness energy, if you had trained in the Sabre arts, then the energy particles of darkness from the surrounding will enter your body and harmonize perfectly with the dark affinity of your body. This would have not only resulted in the start of any trouble, but it would have also acted like a fish in water and helped you in swift cultivation. Your cultivation would have advanced more quickly."

"Wh-What should I do now?" ,Jenny was worried, "Is there no way for me to solve my problem?

"Didn't I say that I have the solution for your issue?" ,Ethan smiled and said, "Don't worry. All we need to do is to extract that violent chaos energy from your body. Then you can resume your cultivation. But unlike all this time, you need to train in Sabre from now on."

Jenny took a deep breath and calmed down. She felt whatever Ethan spoke sounded logical. But she started to have a doubt. How could such a knowledgeable person is still yet to start his cultivation? This does not sound logical at all?

Ethan could naturally guess her thoughts. He inwardly smiled. He was sure that Jenny had finally fallen in his trap. It's time to execute the next step in his plan.

He pretended to sigh said with depressed tone, "What a pity. Library is a treasure trove for knowledge. But the library was closed for past 200 years. I announced to all the disciples to enroll for the membership in the library. But they didn't come. Truly foolish. Do you know something? Our academy used to be the best 200 years ago. The library was closed for 200 years. Three days ago, I opened it. But how could nobody understands that the knowledge in the academy was much priceless as the books here could be traced back to the time frame of 200 years ago? How valuable these books are? Who could understand?"

"Wait. Could it be... the reason why you know the cure to my issue is..." ,Jenny was terrified as she was saying.

But Ethan said before she could finish it. He said, "That's right. I have been reading books here. I was coincidentally reading books regarding medical issues in cultivation. And you came at the right time. This is the reason why I was able to help you with your issue."

Jenny was excited. She felt that Ethan was right. The academy might have fallen due to the war that happened 200 years ago. But the library was entirely different story. The library should be the only place in the entire campus that didn't decline.

Jenny suddenly felt just how important this library is. She decided to enter the library more frequently from now on. But she had to solve her problem first.

She asked, "Big brother, can you cure my issue first? I will agree for any payment as long as it is within my reach."
