Twisting The Truth

"Did you find him?" ,Young Master Sirius asked Derek who was inspecting all the people who were standing in a line.

"No, Young Master Sirius! I couldn't find him here. It looks like he didn't come here at all." ,Derek who was arrogant previously suddenly took A 180° turn in his attitude and replied. He no longer maintained that haughty and arrogant attitude like he used to previously. It was obvious that he won't dare to show his arrogance in front of someone like Young Master Sirius.

"Is that so?" ,Young Master Sirius became serious. It looks like he came here for nothing.

"But that Ethan said that he was not alone. He came with a Junior brother. He never mentioned his junior brother's name though. But the one who actually opening the clinic is actually this Ethan's junior brother. This Ethan was here only to help him during their stay in the city." ,Derek said as he suddenly remembered what Ethan said during his transaction with Young Master Robin.

"Oh! If that is the case, then things will be a little easy for us." ,Young Master Sirius smiled cunningly and said.

He then turned towards Manager of the Administration Department and said, "You know what to do right, Manager?"

"Leave it to me, Young Master! I will do what I have to do." ,The Manager said with confidence.

"Which among you is the companion of that Ethan? Please come out. If you come out on your own violation, then the punishment will be not that severe. But if you force us to conduct an investigation and find your identity, then things will become very difficult for you. It is better for you to come out on your own." ,Manager of the Administration Department said in a strict voice.

The people who were in the line looked at each other. How could they imagine that this Young Master Sirius was actually looking for someone. And that someone he is looking for is with them in the line?

After a while, no one came out. It was as if this question has nothing to do with them. Looking at the silent crowd, Young Master Sirius was a little annoyed. But he gave them even more time. But no one came out.

"Shit! Brother Sherlock! We are doomed. It looks like no one is coming out." ,Lindell said anxiously.

"Why is this Manager so humble towards this Young Master Sirius?" ,Ethan knew that if he didn't step forward everyone will be in trouble. How could he not know about the characters of these kind of vicious people? But the humble attitude of the Administration Department's manager truly surprised him. Hence he asked Lindell the reason.

Lindell sighed and said, "Every Deputy Patriarch manages a couple of Departments. It is indeed a truth that a Chief Elder manages a particular department. But five to six departments will come under the jurisdiction of one Deputy Patriarch. This is also one of the reason why there are three Deputy Patriarchs instead of one. If any issues arises, then it will become the responsibility of that Deputy Patriarch to step in and resolve it."

Lindell continued, "The Administration Department comes under Deputy Patriarch Victor. Apart from the Administration Department, Deputy Patriarch Victor has control over five more departments. Since Administration Department fell under Deputy Patriarch Victor's rule, the Administration Department the will naturally shows the humble attitude towards his descendants."

Ethan understood what Lindell wanted to say. Since that is the case, then he started to have headache. He knew that he screwed up big time. He never wanted to involve in any mess like those MC's from Chinese Novels and comics. But the trouble itself came knocking his door.

"Nobody comes out? Fine. Then I will do what I have to do." ,Manager Philip became serious. He turned towards his staff and said strictly, "They all submitted their applications right? List out all the people who wanted to open a clinic and bring them to me!"

"Yes Sir!" ,His staff members replied obediently and left immediately to follow his instructions. As for the people in the line, they heaved a sigh of relief. Especially those people who were here not to open any clinic. As for those people who were here to open the clinic, they were all scared shitless. They all knew that they were innocents. And yet, they were involved in a mess they didn't commit. How could they not be terrified? How could they not be feeling wronged?

Ethan sighed. He knew that all this was due to him. He is not petty enough to involve others in the mess he created. Or else, he could never give any explanation to his self conscience.

"There is no need for that." ,Ethan who was under disguise came forward and said, "I am Ethan's companion. I will obediently come forward. Please don't involve the innocents in this."

Everyone in the hall were surprised. Be it Derek or Young Master Sirius or Manager Philip, they were stunned as well. Strictly speaking, if a person knew that he was in a mess and no one knows your identity, then that person will try to hide as much as possible from the authorities. But this person came forward and accepted the trouble all by himself. How could they not be surprised?

"Brother Sherlock!" ,Lindell was speechless. He didn't know what to say at this moment.

Ethan ignored Lindell and moved forward. He looked at Derek and asked, "May I know what exactly happened? Why are you people looking for my Senior Brother Ethan?"

Derek snorted and said, "He was selling Grade-1 fruits for 10 Gold Coins. I wanted to negotiate and asked him to reduce the price. But he refused to reduce. We had a little argument. But how could I know that he will lose his temper and beat me up?"

Ethan was speechless. What kind of reasoning it is? You actually twisted the truth. How cunning?

Ethan said, "There is no way my senior brother would do that."

"Oh!" ,Young Master Sirius smiled and asked, "And why would you say that?"

Ethan replied calmly, "First of all, he will try to stay away from trouble as much as possible. Even if he was involved in any trouble, he will never touch his opponent. He trained in his reflexes and possessed immense stamina. He will just try to exhaust his opponent by constantly dodging the attacks threw at him. And you are saying that he beat you for such a small reason? Are you kidding me?"

Before Derek could say any further, Ethan continued, "Secondly, you said that he beat you up. But how come I don't see even a single bruise or swelling or scars on your body?"

Ethan asked in a serious tone, "Who are you trying to fool here?"
