Basic Swordsman

Ethan walked deep into the mountain. As for the mental pressure, after upgrading his Spirit Attribute, it no longer has any affect on him. So he was perfectly alright. After learning this, Ethan was at ease.

He walked forward. The mountain looked golden in colour when he was with Assane. But as he walked in, he found that the mountain was filled with rare medicines and medicinal herbs. The reason why the golden colour appeared for the villegers is due to some kind of barrier around the mountain.

He didn't know what that barrier is. But it doesn't matter. After all, he successfully entered the mountain. What he couldn't understand is why exactly the barrier didn't stop his trespassing? If he could enter, then what is the purpose of the barrier?

No matter how much thought he gave, he couldn't come up with any explanation. So he decided to not let this matter affect him and just go with the flow of the situation. If this barrier which let him enter proved to be tricky and made him fall in any danger, then he will think about the solution accordingly.

After entering the interior of the mountain, he was enjoying the atmosphere. In his entire life, he never experienced this type of pure atmosphere. He felt as if his mind and heart is refreshing.

One hour passed. He was climbing the mountain for around an hour. But he had no idea what his destination is. If he could find something, then he will at least have some hope. But he had no idea where exactly he needed to go. Very soon the thought of returning surfaced in his mind.

[Alert! Alert!]

[A huge number of low levelled monsters are 1500m ahead]

[These monsters are at the early stages of the Elementary Stage]

[User is recommended to stay cautious]

Just as he was planning to return, the System has given him an alert. Ethan was baffled for a moment. But that was just for a moment as this alert was quite sudden. But very instantly, he became cautious. He might not be good at this. But his system is quite something. There is no way his System would give him any false alert.

After becoming cautious, the first thing Ethan did is to find a aafe place for himself to hide. Before finding those monsters, he wanted to make sure that those monsters won't find him at any cost. He found a thick bush and hid himself.

After assuring his own safety, the first thing he did is to look around. He wanted to see whether there exist any monster nearby.

"System! Inform me if you could find any monsters in 100m radius from my location!" ,Ethan didn't hesitate to give an order.

[Command Accepted]

[Initializing the Scanning process around User's 100m radius]

[Scanning completed]

[Found 26 Early Elementary Stage Monsters 78m ahead of host]

"26!!" ,Ethan almost vomited blood out of anger. He was not even close to confident enough to handle even one. After all, he didn't even learn single combat technique. Even if he learned, there is no way he could say that he was confident enough to defeat even a single monster with his complete noob combat experience.

And yet the System reported just now that, there are a total of 26 monsters patrolling around the mountain? What kind of joke is this? Even though they were low levelled monsters, he himself is a low levelled cultivator. How could he handle those monsters?

He could escape just like how he managed to escape from the lackeys of that Young Master Sirius. But there are a total of 26 monsters roaming here. He doesn't know whether there are monsters numbered exactly 26 or more there exists more than 26.

There are too many monsters. How could he think of take the advantage of his superior attributes? What if there are more monsters exists ahed of him? And what about their cultivation strength? What if their cultivation strength is higher than mine?

No matter how much he thought, the only safest option he could think of right now is to kill these 26 monsters. Only by killing them he could move forward while assuring his own safety.

But the problem is that he didn't learn any combat skills. He had only one sword skill. The name of that sword art is [Alpha and Omega Sword Arts]. It was the reward from the system. But he never even learned it.

"System! Initialise the transfer procedure for [Alpha and Omega Sword Arts]." ,Ethan commanded

[Command Accepted]

[User requires 5 Skill Points to learn Basic Level of [Alpha and Omega Sword Arts]. Does User want to learn?]

"Yes." ,Ethan didn't hesitate and accepted it immediately. He had 50 Skill Points remaining. So spending 5 points is not a bad thing.

[Command Accepted]

[Transferring Basic data regarding [Alpha and Omega Sword Arts] to the User's brain]

[Transfer Successful]

[User is now a Basic Swordsman]

[Congratulations to the User for cultivating the Sword Art]

[Weapon experience points system unlocked]

[From now on, the [Alpha And Omega Sword Art] will be added into the experience upgrade System]

[As the User uses the sword art on any opponent and successfully defeats them, user will be rewarded experience points based on the Opponent's cultivation base]

Information regarding basics of [Alpha and Omega Sword Arts] transferred to Ethan's mind. After transfer process completed, Ethan felt as if he was at the peak amongst all the basic sword practitioners. He felt as if he was the expert among the expert within the basic swordsmen.

Ethan was not surprised with the Experience Points reward system from the System. It was common in the RPG Game he used to play bin fact, he was expecting it.

But Ethan was not satisfied with the Basic Level Sword mastery. Even though it was just basic level sword skills, it defines how to hold the sword, Lunge, Flunge, Evasion, Parry, Counter Attack, Riposte, Remise, Beat, Feint and so on.

They were all at the Basic Level. But Ethan felt as if he was practicing the Basic Sword moves for years and his skill level was at the peak of perfection. He never practised sword before. But he still managed to learn it as if he was practising it for a long time now.

Ethan knew that it was the advantage he had with System. If it weren't for the System, there is no way he would have learned the sword skill this quickly. This was all thanks to the System.

What is more amusing is that, he never held a sword in his life before. He even saw a sword less than 5 times in his life. And all of them were during exhibitions and museums back on earth. And now he was a swordsman with no sword at all.

A thought came to his mind then. He still had 45 Skill points. What if he upgraded his sword mastery to a new level. That will give him a sense of security after all.

"System! Upgrade my Sword skills!" ,Ethan commanded

[Command Accepted]

[User requires 15 Skill Points to learn Basic Level of [Alpha and Omega Sword Arts]. Does User want to learn?]

"Yes." ,Ethan replied without any hesitation.

[Transferring Entry Level data regarding [Alpha and Omega Sword Arts] to the User's mind]

[Transfer Successful]

[User is now a Entry Level Swordsman]

With that the Entry Level sword skills were transferred to Ethan's mind. The same nostalgic feeling came to his mind. The Entry Level data was even more advanced and gave him a sense of security to Ethan.
