When Abigail finished watching the video, that's the only time she felt Eva's gaze on her through the mirror. She immediately gave an innocent look and a sweet smile towards the woman. Eva withdrew her gaze as their eyes crossed paths with each other. The look and the smile that Abigail was giving her a bad feeling.
The vehicle stopped in front of a beach hose. The caretaker helped them to pick up the items from their car's trunk because they had a lot of things with them. Essential things that will help them in staying here for a few weeks, comfortably.
"Abi, it's been a long time since we last came here. Are you happy, Sweetheart?"? Mike asked her daughter softly.
When Abigail heard the question, she immediately smiled and answered." Yes, daddy, I missed fishing too! "She said while the joy in her eyes is evident.
Mike laughed out loud. He saw that Abigail was happy at the place they had gone. The kid immediately happily ran into the white sanded beach and played.
"Linda, keep a close eye on Abigail."
"Yes, Sir!" Nanny Linda replied then ran to chase Abigail who was now playing in the sand.
"Did you like the place, Darling?" He shifted his gaze to his wife who was quietly standing on his side. The tiredness was obvious on her wife's face. And Mike couldn't help but worry for both his wife and their baby's condition.
A series of unfortunate events happened to them. Abigail drowned, Jasmine left without saying goodbye, and now someone tried to steal from their house. He was sure that Eva was affected especially since his wife was kind and friendly to people.
Eva nodded and smiled slightly. For a moment her gaze shifted to the child playing in the sand before entering the house.
The joy that Adrianne was feelings could not be hidden. They are close to the forest. It is known that the energy she can draw in that place is purer and fresher. The forest is just close to where the house at, so Adrianne is sure, that she can go there freely especially at nighttime.
She also wanted to get in there to look for fairies. They will surely help her in regaining her former power. Especially since she helped them then in fighting for their habitat.
Adrianne peeked out of the window from her bedroom located on the second floor. She could see the overall beach part and the forest on the side, not far away from them.
"Abigail," Mike called out, getting her attention. He entered the room with a smile on his face. "Do you want to go boating with Daddy? There are a lot of fishes in the sea. We can catch those and cook them later."
Abigail gave the man a sweet smile. Although it was tiring to be a child and pretend to be Abigail in front of him, she also wanted to go in the middle of the sea. To know and find out if there was a fairy living in the ocean.
"All right, Daddy! But how can we go fishing here?" Abigail asked then stood up from the bed and approached the man standing in front of him.
"Daddy will take care of it, sweetheart. Now shall we leave?" Mike asked slightly chuckling as they left the room.
Eva's eyebrows form a straight line as she watched her husband and his daughter sitting in a boat. She was sitting in a wooden lounge chair in front of their house. Next to her was a small table on which a cold apple juice was staying still. Anyone who sees her in this place, will think on how relaxing her place was. But they are wrong, because what she feels now is the opposite of happiness.
Many things were running through his mind. That was the only reason why she was able not to cry and mourn for the death of her only brother. She poured out the sadness she was feeling in anger for young Abigail. The bitch of a child who cannot die! She's like a cockroach that was very hard to kill.
It all started to change when the kid came back to life. Since that day, unfortunate events has been happening to her, one after another. She seems to have experienced a curse. One thought crossed her mind. It was Adeline... Adeline did she, did it?
Eva bit her lower lip. Did Abigail meet her mother in the afterlife? Is that the reason why these things were happening to her? She was shaken by the thought.
She does not believe in ghosts or any other inexplicable strange forces in the world. But there was no use in denying that there were strange things that happen to them.
Her dreams, the thing that happened to hie brother. Up until this day, she was still confused. It is still not clear for her on how did Erick caught in a fire.
When they asked Abigail on what had happened, the child just cried out as she looked traumatized. When Mike saw the tears streaming down in the girl's eyes and the fear evident on her face, Mike asked them yo not let someone ask Abigail again about what had happened that day.
It was inevitable that Eva would doubt asking herself, what really happened that night?
"Eva!" her husband called him. The man waved his hands from the boat and smiled broadly at her direction.
Eva forced a smile on her face, waving at her husband. The man paddled again and went to the middle of the ocean as they plan to go fishing.
She leaned back in the chair and picked up the apple juice on the table. She was stunned to drink when she remembered who made her the drink.
She looked in Abigail's direction. The kid was holding a fishing rod while her back was facing her. Abigail, the child who couldn't die!
Slowly, she poured the juice on the floor. Eva went inside the house and prepared for her plan.
This is the last day... Eva promised to herself, this is the last day she would see Abigail's breathing body.
