"Do you know what time would the announcement take place?" Adrianne asked Irene, who was silently listening to the teacher in front of them.
Looking in Abigail's direction, Irene shook her head. "I don't, but I think, it would most likely to take place later, after lunch." She said.
Nodding at what the girl had said, Adrianne took a deep breath. She took the pen out of her desk and start writing notes in her notebook. She wrote down the things she needed to remember.
"So, Class for today, I would like you to do something that would relax and calm your mind. This activity will help your creativity and artistic side." Mrs. Belva said with excitement lingering in her tone.
Hearing that, Adrianne placed her right hand on her head, slightly massaging it. Seems like they have to do something today. Sighing, her eyes filled with boredom glanced over the door as it opened.
Men carrying wooden boxes suddenly entered the classroom. One by one they placed the box on each desk. Adrianne opened the box, revealing the different tools for painting.
Canvas, brushes, and paints. A complete set of materials that can help them to have a successful abstract.
"You may use any colors you like. The best painting will be placed in the art gallery." Mrs. Belva announced making the children clapped in excitement.
"Abigail, what were you going to paint?" Irene smiled excitedly.
Shrugging her shoulders, "I don't know" Abigail answered.
Why was she doing this anyway? Really? Painting? How can this thing even help her? It was a useless piece of activity. A waste of time.
Looking around her, she saw different paintings on each canvas. Some were starting to paint the sunset. Some were painting things that can usually be seen. Adrianne was the only one who hasn't started yet.
Mrs. Belva noticed it. Taking some light steps, the woman went near to Abigail.
"Abigail, don't you know how to paint?" Mrs. Belva asked the kid.
Adrianne looked at the woman's eyes. "I know how, Miss." She answered.
The woman nodded, staring into the kid's eyes. She suddenly felt a flash of cold air on the back of her neck. It was unexpected as the door to their room was already locked.
Trying herself to force a smile, "You should start now, Abigail. Your classmate was already starting." She uttered before turning her back to go to her table once again.
There was something different about the child. With how her other co-teachers describe Abigail, she wasn't sure what to think. They all stated that the kid was different.
Glancing over to the girl, she shook her head, releasing her negative thoughts. 'Who are you, Abigail?'

"Are you already done, Abigail?" Irene, who had finished painting asked.
She painted fruits, an apple to be exact. She really likes snow white, that's why she made it an inspiration. A bitten apple on the side. The background was a mixture between black and white with an ombre effect.
Glancing over to Abigail who hasn't answered her question, her eyes widened in amazement. What her friend was painting looks really good! As if a professional painter has made it.
"Pst, Abigail," She tried to call again her friend's attention.
"What do you need?" Adrianne asked, hearing Irene calling for her attention.
She was busy painting. It was fun, she will admit that. Adrianne didn't know that this activity can be fun as well. It was her first time doing it, although the painting was already created back then in her time.
She smirked, remembering her portrait that was painted in the past. She wondered where did those Vampires store it? She chuckled, remembering how those people hated her. How petty of them if they really did burn her things together with her.
"Class, are you done?!" Her thoughts had gotten interrupted when their teacher spoke in the middle.
"YES, MISS!" The student's words united.
One by one, they took their time to present what they have painted in the middle. Starting from the front in the class until the back. Adrianne was second to the last before her was Irene, who looks excited to present what she has painted.
"Next is Irene, please present what have you painted in the front."
The girl quickly stood up, walking in the middle. Irene bowed her head before presenting her work.
"I want to name my work as bitten. My inspiration for this work was snow white. I really like that fairytale. Did you know, in the past…"
Adrianne has listened to what her classmates have said so far. She almost rolled her eyes at what others did say. Those kids almost told the whole class their whole life.
"Thank you," Irene smiled before putting her work on the teacher's table.
Returning to her seat, she hugged Abigail who got startled by the sudden move.
Adrianne froze in the spot with the unexpected hug coming from Irene. Glaring, she glanced over to Irene's side who seems to get scared at the look she's giving.
"What are you doing?" Adrianne asked in an almost cold tone.
Quickly apologizing, Irene said her sorry. She just got too happy after sharing the reason why she painted the apple.
"Second to the last was Abigail." Mrs. Belva announced.
Without a choice, Adrianne took the painting out of her desk and went to the middle. She was hugging the painting when suddenly one of her classmates shouted.
"Your painting must look bad, that's why you're covering it!" The girl exclaimed making the whole class laugh.
Rolling her eyes, Adrianne slowly turned the painting over making the students silent.
It was a black rose with golden thorns. Behind was a moon glowing. "My inspiration for this was about the book I've read in the past. About a woman who was killed by her own subjects." She uttered, staring over the faces of the silent people who were earlier, was having fun teasing her.
Mrs. Belva clapped her hands, "That was an amazing painting, Abigail. It's final, this will be placed in the gallery." The woman announced.
"But Abigail, what will you call your painting?" The woman continued, taking the canvas out of Adrianne's hand.
Thinking, Adrianne smirked when a name popped out of her head.
"I would like to name it the curse… The curse of the Evil Queen."
