Michael's P.O.V

One foot in front of the other, just keep on walking towards the locker room, don't look back for anything. Eyes facing forward, feet planted firmly on the ground supporting my weight.

This was so damn hard! Honestly is the best policy they said... That's all bullshit! I heard their loud voices from outside the locker room, and it pushed out my fear.

"Finally showed up for practice," Jake said the moment I walked inside the room.

"Cut him some slack, he is team captain." Yeah, coach is already going to bust his ass for being late when we have a game on Friday." Seth said.

There wasn't going to be an easy way out of spitting this one, would there?.

"I have to say something to all of you," I spoke up, all their joyful faces turned and faced me. The pricks all turned angelic all of a sudden.

"It's about me and football. And that game we had two weeks ago." I started. For some reason, all the guys looked scary like they would bite my head off.
