Chapter 109

Diana's P. O. V

My head was feeling a bit sore, but I was positive West just agreed to help me out with something. But he was helping himself as well, so this was a win-win situation.

"When going in, let's not draw too much attention to ourselves." West said as we got out of the car.

"Okay." I said feeling nervous, I was all bark, but now am scared to actually bite. The light from the bar was blinding, "don't chicken out now, we're already here." West said to only my hearing. This was a side of West that puzzled me, was he being protective or was he making fun of me.

We walked inside, he gave me a look signaling me to take a seat and act natural. I know that's what he's saying because he took a seat and gestured me to sit too. There was no other available seat around him, so I sat at the counter.

"You're a pretty one. I didn't know you joined." The bartender said, he had brown hair and blue eyes, and a piercing on his lower lip that stood out.
