West jerked his hand away and wiped it off on his pants, but he didn't look disgusted by me.

"That's what gonna kill you, that inquisitive nature of yours. Just learn to accept things the way they are. It's best for you and me most especially." West harshly said, but I couldn't help but sense some warmth in his voice.

"Fine." I said and folded my arms, glad we were getting closer to my house. I kept my gaze on the moving figures, trying not to ask him or scold West for anything.

Then, West suddenly pulled over, and rolled the windows down. I was shocked as to why he'd stop the car when we were so close to my home.

"Why did you stop the car?." I asked, "get out." He coldly said, "excuse..." He cut me off before I could continue.

"You seem like the kind who'd stare at stars and risk mosquitoes, so just get out." West said, not wanting to repeat himself.
