Aunt Nia avoided me like the plague, she made it so obvious that my presence was some sort of nuisance to her. Worse of all, I didn't get an apology for getting mixed up with her stimulants or whatever she called them.

"Just give her some time, she promised to apologise to you and set things straight." Mom assured me before I stepped out to meet Luca.

Today was day three at school, and I had already became the talk of the school. Luca handed me my breakfast, we were going a bit earlier today, he had mandatory warm-ups, so that meant I had to attend earlier.

"You're not eating D." He told me, staring out the painfully obvious fact. I shoved my takeout in my mouth just to show him that I was fine.

"How's your mom by the way?." I asked, wanting to talk about him for a change. He was a bit stunned that I asked about him, things were always centered around my problems when it was just us two.
