Chapter 4

The book is a novel, 'My Sunshine at Sunset' starring the two main protagonists as they fall in love, and ascend the staircase of success, to rise above everyone else, a typical love story where the main leads, suffer through hardships to be together and concor the world.

The novel revolves around a girl from the 21st century who transmigrated into an ancient fantasy world, as the illegitimate daughter of the Duke Verita's household. She made an oath when she arrived that she wouldn't let anyone who had wronged her off so easily. Everyone who follows her will prosper, and anyone who apposed her shall perish.

She was an ordinary girl, or actually woman. Since she was in her mid twenties. But after her transmigration, she didn't want to lead an ordinary lazy life anymore, but live life to its fullest, so she learned new skills and built her own organization little by little.

She by her wits and unique personality, she battled everyone who used to bully her, and look down on her, and gained the favor of a king of a rising kingdom. The king, the male lead, found her quite interesting and captivating and decided to make her his own, but later falls head over heels for her, along with some other main characters.

Together, the protagonists fight everyone who dared stand on their way, and improve their kingdom by the knowledge of the 21st century provided by the female lead, and later on unify the world under their peaceful reign.

And they all live happily ever after.

A touching love story to readers, even Amourora had to admit she found it fascinating, it had a good plot, but at some point it got too cliché, with different antagonists and the same purpose. To break up the couple or hurt them, and powerful and talented men started falling for the fl.

Bo~ring.

The most boring part is how the protagonists always win. Every, single, time!

And it had plot holes, like when the fl gave some of her modern knowledge, for example, when she cured the king from an incurable poison, or made ice out of nothing. Where did she get those stuff.

And some of the characters would behave differently from how she remembers them from real life. The novel concealed a lot of details just so the main leads could be better than any other person in each way, it made them out be like they're of superior existence, and everyone else is beneath them.

And she didn't like how all the antagonists ended up badly, couldn't they have recognized their mistakes and apologize, or learn from the people before them?

Although the novel had a 'happy' ending, she found herself crying more often than not. Those antagonists were people she cared about, whether her family or friends.

Well, the flat ending was like a fart to the face of the anticipating readers. It didn't explain much, just that the main leads have been through a lot to stay together, and they're in a better place now, gazing dreamily at the setting sun.

What Amourora hated the most is how everyone she had cared for didn't meet a good end, and it was related to the fl, one way or another. Unlike all the other villians, only her family got completely wiped, like they were targeting it on purpose...?

She inhaled deeply.

'Just what is going on exactly!?'

Oh, how much she wished to go back to her old peaceful life. This is too confusing!

Wait! As though remembering something, she whipped her head to where the precious treasure had been.

If the novel 'My Sunshine at Sunset' is true, then...The pearl necklace is an ancient treasure!

It's priceless!

In the novel 'My Sunshine at Sunset', the male lead brought that pearl necklace from abroad, as a betrothal jewelry, for the female lead, Victoria. Unbeknownst to them, it was a priceless ancient treasure which held a secret space or private mini realm.

Amourora wasn't a big fan of books, but during the training, queen Silvia, the queen of the Cloud kingdom, assigned many books for her to read.

One of the most ancient history books she had to read contained some information about ancient spiritual treasures, which held a secret space in them, but the space in them was no bigger than a small cabinet, and didn't accommodate living species. And these treasures had to be unlocked by their chosen master's blood.

However, In the novel, when she was fighting over it, she accidentally cut her finger while trying to snatch it from Victoria. The necklace wasn't stimulated right away, but after a while, maybe because it's rightful owner's blood unlocked it, but the one wearing it wasn't it's actual owner, so it didn't work to its full potential.

Because it only mentioned a bolder in the middle of a small white room with empty shelves and a back garden.

Amourora examined the necklace closely, but as she was about to feel it, it vanished with a puff of pink smoke.

Huh?

The smoke kept getting more and more dense, until it became difficult to see or breathe... Until she lost consciousness.
