"Secrets of the Enhancers? But I'm not just an enhancer. I have my metal that I can dribble from my body."
Just saying that makes me feel an instinct as if with just a simple will a metal will come out.
I was incapacitated but my palm throb with a tingling sensation, when some kind of thick fluid flows out of my sweat pores.
The fluid is thick and hot but it cools down to a chilly sensation in no time.
Impossible!
This is impossible!!
Look at this, I brought out the metal without pain, my bones did not burn, my skin also did not tear and blood did not come out!!!
I raised my head in happiness to see the reaction of the scientists, but I saw the whole legion of them staring at me in amazement.
All of them, all those that are busy taking data and discussing the lab activities, each one has his duty but they stood before my pod looking at the small ball of metal that hovers above my palm.
"Good, great as I said your body was nurtured better than before and now bringing out the metal in you is like sweating."
"Yes, I just will it in an instinct then it happens. It was so easy that I did not stop."
Damn! This is good news for me and my parents. I don't know the science behind it but they said that my body creates an abnormal amount of metal.
How the hell could a body produce metal?
But what they said is that within blood haemoglobin there is an iron, and because of the nature of my body it was produced in enormous quantities.
For some reason that served as my second ability. But the sad part is that getting the metal out is painful and taxing to the point that the second of my despair apart from my inner battle and struggle is getting the damn metal out of my body.
I'm tired, perhaps what I know about myself is all wrong. The fact that Dr Sam said he will disclose the true secrets of Enhancers tells me all I know or learned about abilities might be vague or entirely wrong.
"When do you think the boy will be ready to help me?"
He smiles wryly before he shakes his head.
"Be patient, we will help you till you achieve ultimate control!"

"You seem upset," Dr Khan said when he saw me coming into the lab. I was suddenly amazed by what was in front of him.
I forgot what was bothering me as I ran before the thing I saw.
"Is this the clone you are talking about?"
"Yes, but it's a failure. We use the ultimate extraction to extract your genome but the traits of your ability are non-existent."
"Ah, I don't really get it. Is it possible for a clone to have the original persons' ability?"
"Yes, they always do, especially if the genome extracted has the nod of ability. Since we can't find your nod of ability, it was just a gamble thinking we will learn something new."
It was not Dr Khan that answered me but an American named Dr Charles. He was from another sector that worked with Dr khan as a collaboration.
In ecstasy, I said, "Can it live like me? What about the consciousness, is it me or just a baby of me?"
"It's complicated, there are two major types of clones. One was basically a child of the original, but they are termed clones because they have a very close genome. This kind of clone can survive and live to a certain extent. The other one is this." He pointed at my clone.
"It's the real cloning and an actual replication of a person, just like this one.
You see this one is calibrated just as you are. The muscles, organs, brain, and the whole system is a copy of you. Just that it's dead, not alive, but the cells that made it up are alive.
Human body functions when every organ and system function at the same time, and it is guided by instinctual memory of the Central Nervous System.
In clones, everything was made the same as a copy of someone, but we can't create that instinctual memory of CNS.
We were able to map the wave of brain function for generations and the response of nerves that send and receive information in the body.
But even if we impart that response to a true clone, the body remains unresponsive and remains dormant until the individual cell begins to die."
Oops! These scientists the moment you asked a question they began speaking like a Jukebox. But I understand what he means in a nutshell.
As of now, my clone is a dead mass of flesh and bones, but the cells are alive and may die if not kept in good condition.
The main reason for zero functionality is the lack of sense of consciousness of a true human.
To the scientist, this is a setback that they want to crack. But to a layman like me, it's just that they are playing God in the domain of creation.
"If that is the case, is there any technology that can transfer my consciousness to the clone, maybe the clone will respond?"
"Amazing boy, you are very perceptive. It can be done, or to say it has been done. With my great technology, I was able to connect the mind of a human to a machine.
And I have numerous times connected the neuron of a clone and the original. But it carries a lot of risks, that you are too precious, I won't do it even if you beg me"
Another enthusiastic scientist said. She was fat and heavy but a beaming smile and happiness coupled with smugness on her face made her look like a child that won a competition.
I know her, she was that fat-friendly scientist that was always smiling.
She wanted to be acquainted with me but for some reason, Dr Khan doesn't seem okay with it because of that she gives me some distance.
