//Sector 7, Natural Garden. Susan POV\\
I don't want to think about what I felt from Director Irene using my powers.
She is among the Board of Directors in Sector 10. And the sole reason why Director 9 doesn't want Director Khan to call the board of Directors to mediate his feud with her.
Though I heard from Director Khan, Director 9 is far crazier than Director Irene but in the Board of Directors, Director Irene has more power.
"Can you make me forget this incident!"
"Yes, but you don't that." She said before she floated toward Subject 3519 and tapped his shoulder and both of them disappeared.
Me and Director Khan walk back to his office and the brand new Tier 5 come out from the wall beside the office seat.
It's in the shape of a human being made of up Silver. He stood before the Director and then walked to me and stood before me.
With ecstasy, I raised my hand and touched it.
The silver liquified and flowed on my skin. It did not flow on my clothes but went through my actual body, from my hand to my chest and then it flowed all over my body.
The icy silver liquid covered my whole body as if I'm wearing a suit. After the Silver covered my body then it finally flowed on my face and covered it.
Around my eyes, a screen appeared with instructions on how to set security and other important stuff.
And it showed me the reason why it covered me was to analyse every inch of my body, my skin, hair, pores and also scan my internal organs.
All this to register me as the new owner.
I adjusted how I would like to see the Guard and what type of AI it will be: female or male, child or old.
The Silver retracted and shrunk to a necklace on my neck. A beautiful small necklace now is the Guardian made for me.
At the slightest sign of danger, it will scan and calculate in an instance how best to protect me.
I can also willingly make it shape to anything I want. Or make it transform into a humanoid and utilise its true power. Yes, only when it's in human shape will it use the Tier 5 abilities.
But when needed to fight, it can take on any form that is suitable to take down the enemy.
Besides this one is an upgraded one, I have to study some of its improvements and see its speciality.
~Wow~
Tier 4 and Tier 5 are like Heaven and Earth. How strong will Tier 6 be?
"From Tier 6 and above are all Ability users that were turned to Zombies.
But based on non-human technology, Tier 5 Guard is the highest and we made it here with the help of 4 different Sectors." He said with a hint of pride and continued...
"I take the lead as you can see the Guard is mostly nanoparticles. Then Sectors 8 and Sector 5 provide infinite energy sources.
As for Sector 9, she provided something that we call an Artificial Soul.
A Soul for the Machine. She believes that when bonded no one in the Universe can change it or hack it unless that person has power over the Soul.
And that Artificial soul, my granddaughter Susan! Is the greatest invention this facility has ever made. It makes our Tier 5 Soldiers on par with the Zombies!"
My heart skipped a bit. This type of knowledge is not something I should be privy to. Only people with high clearance should know about it.
"Don't worry, I'm promoting you to be my Direct Assistance. That gives the clearance to know things like this.
Anyway, I will direct you to the Northern Wing to take care of our potential subjects. If subject 3519 is a success they will be in line to receive the Nanos.
Your job is to keep track of their mentality and body condition. But you will be joining them as part of them, as a Subject!"
"Understood, sir."
"That will be all… one last thing I will send this guard to Samantha."
I nodded before I turned to prepare myself for the new assignment.
~Sigh~
I take a liking to Subject 3519 and I hope he survives the integration with the Nanos.

//Unknown Sector, White Dessert. MC POV\\
Damn it!
As I reached the end of the damn white desert. How the hell did they make a whole desert into white sand.
I raised my head and saw a four-meter tall white wall. Facing me… a white gate.
I turn to look at the endless ocean of sand thinking about all the trials I have been through in it.
Mtsww!
Is this some kind of test?
I wanted to lie down and get some rest but I will not. The moment I sat, those Phantom would appear and shoot me with those pistols.
On my hand, I observe the soft pebble that I pick while facing the Phantom. It's like a small pebble made of rubber. As I rub it, it's soft and malleable but when shot from the pistols it stings.
This whole dessert is a trial made for me to use my eyes to the fullest. Not in a way of activating them, but deep concentration and making use of the basic eyesight.
Normally, humans have 180 degrees point of sight. But the mind only focuses on one position, giving a good view while the rest of the positions are blurred.
To me, if I look with a normal gaze all the views of 180 are apparent as if I'm focusing on them.
But it's straining to me, so I tend to focus all the time.
But my adventures in this white desert forced me to keep that 180 degrees sight all the time to keep track of all the Phantom that appears and disappears.
Each appearance they shoot me with this rubber stone. Keeping track of them with my gaze made them halt in the shooting.
Let say four of them to my extreme right and ten of them to my extreme left, all shooting at me at the same time.
But anyone of the Phantom that I land my eyes on will not shoot me and will disappear along the way.
If I say to dart my eyes on them one by one, then I will not look at three of them and all the rest will shoot me.
And it's painful, my first ten days I fainted three times each day. The sad thing is each shot felt different.
In other words, I can't get used to the pain.
~Hoo~
Dr Khan, you have outdone yourself this time. At least warn me or tell me that I'm getting my eyes tested.
But it's effective at least since now I don't need to look left and right to see my peripheral side clearly.
That is my front view and my left and right peripheral view are almost the same.
My only blank space is my back but there is this instinct of what will be at my back even though I'm not looking at it.
~Crunch~
~Crunch~
~Crunch~
My footsteps making the sound.
Shit, I quickly widened my eyes.
Hundred, two hundred, three hundred and 60….
I dart from my position and dock down, turn left and then right avoiding all the rubber bullets.
I scan the field finding all the Phantom disappeared. This is one of the things I learn, dodging the rubber stones along the way.
Oh shit!
From the town, I saw about ten large projectiles shot in the air. As they were high above the air they exploded, tiny rubber stones raining down on me!
