It was three in the morning before Rafael finally disbanded the group, promising to regroup again in the morning for breakfast.

Gabriel and I walked back to my bedroom in silence, his warm hand holding mine as he led me through the as yet unfamiliar sub terrain of DOWN.

It was the dead of night and we were exhausted, but I could not stop my brain from spinning round and round with all the information that the men were discussing.

"Tired?"  Gabriel asked me.

"Yeah, but I'm ok."  I said.

"Hang on," he said, and crouched down in front of me.  "Get on my back, I'll give you a piggy back ride to the room."

"No, I'm ok," I said.  "I can walk."

"Don't argue with me," he said, pulling on my arms.  "I know your strength is failing and I want you to rest a bit."

I sighed and leaned forward into his back.  With a quick heft, Gabriel lifted me up and began walking.
