Endra

The Endra was a dragon, it was dark blue and had scales along its back and around his arms like armour.

It had dints and gashes that were around its neck and session on its abdomen.

It had hair along its chin and arms that made it look old but sagely. His face looked sad like it had been crying. Its wings were folded into his back like a crane. The pressure it gave of was constant and not yielding.

Joey felt like he would die if it made any sudden movements.

I-is it d-dead?" Joey finally asked while standing up on his own. They walked onto an Elevator that was led up to a higher floor for a better view.

"This kid, Is an Endra, One of the dragon species from the 9 Skies" she wasn't smiling but her face was serious, it was hard to imagine something like this giving off a presence being this strong.

"Is it dead?"

"It died not too long ago, I waited before I called you," Sina spoke seriously then went silent. Then said, "Just his last breaths caused whirlwinds to form instantly, It even killed some weaker cadets. Some of them died and their flesh blew away in the wind, they are taking whoever has the most flesh left"

Joey instantly felt sluggish

They were blown into nothing!

She pointed toward a door in the distance and showed the weaker cadets being wrapped up in white sheets.

He couldn't help but think they would have to home dead because a dragon was breathing.

"I really can't rely on willpower to keep fighting, I need to awaken my superpower," He thought inwardly.

Cadets trained day in and day out, even if some of them didn't have superpowers they were strong nonetheless and to be killed without warning was sad.

He wouldn't be surprised if they turned into a spirit that haunted their superiors.

"Sina! You kept us waiting for a little brat? what the hell will he do? He looks like he can't even use his arms!" The man shouting had yellow and red hair on his head, he was 5'9 and had bulky arms that squeezed his military military uniform.

His chest was adorned with a medal of honour and badges.

"Tch" Sina clicked her tongue and paid him no mind.

This made the man more infuriated and his colour started to get brighter and his face distorted and he clenched his fist.

He was quickly doused with a ball of water from a man beside him "Enough we need Sina and her little apprentice to help us".

The man beside him was a little taller with glasses on his face which he to keep them from falling off his face. His eyes were black and he had hair with half black and white hair.

"You just try to fight her any chance you get, do you really wanna get bullied in front of the youngin?" He looked to Joey but confused his shock with fear.

"Fear not little one, my name is Lance Dejones and this is Sajin Janroes"

The man kindly offered a handshake a didn't do anything, he looked completely harmless and the opposite of his companion, "Joey" he said as he shook his hand.

"Well let's see how you two decide to tackle the Endra" Lance said as he looked on Sina with his eyes half-closed.

Sina didn't even bother to try to say anything to him she just kept her eyes on the Endra and said "Tell me more about the Endra tell me how it died",

The man never even seemed to be upset and simply explained while Sajin was fuming but his friendlier counterpart kept him in check "Well once upon a time on a cold stormy night...well may it was in the morning".

Enough nonsense!

The man laughed his heat out, he finally slapped his leg and it tried to control himself "I'm sorry, phew! I needed that".

He looked around and saw no one else laughing and clicked his tongue then explained.

"13 lieutenants and a captain were out on a hunting mission, half the squad died and the captain is injured. His element was wind thankfully or we were able to survive wind and strike it down.

I suspect that this Endra is a dragon that is just a few months old... I don't know how strong exactly."

He sighed then said, "The World Confederation wants 50% of the beast, The beast's mother might run amok so this is basically paying them for the inconvenience, but all you have to do is process it."

"It's Just senseless killing, I hope its mother does come for you" Sina sneered. Joey felt the same way. Looking at the beast filled him with an unreal sense of sadness.

"Just do what we asked dammit! You think I'm paying you for nothing" Sajin scowled angrily, he easily got heated whenever he was talking to Sina the tension was almost tangible.

She sighed then said "You guys sicken me, your making grudges instead f doing your job"

"Sina! watch your mouth!" Lance shouted.

"Tch!, As if you care about anything else but yourself"

"Let's not argue anymore, We are the ones that need Sina to do this, we need to preserve as much value as we can." Waynard finally came into the room calming down the atmosphere.

Joey was forced to watch but his eyes to stay quiet it was not his place to say anything, he just took in the information and clues.

Waynard seemed like the only cool-headed one that was able to calm down the atmosphere, one could argue it was easier.

Sina was not inclined to listen to his thoughts.

Waynard turned to Sina then said, "We don't have any way to take the skin off other than force. Every butcher on 9 Skies can take off the skin without losing some value. So you must know that we need you, you are both powerful and meticulous."

Waynard gave a light bow and Sina did nothing, she just got on the elevator down to the floor while hauling Joey along.
