Ketan stared at the ceiling while contemplating what to do. After thinking for a moment, he jumps out of bed and leaves the house slamming the door. 'I need time to cool down and not be near Sylvie. She is getting bold. If I had not been there, she would bleed until the wound healed. Her healing powers are starting to wane. Just what the fuck was she thinking?' He could feel Sylvie trying to connect through the mind link, but he blocked all her attempts as he stormed into the jungle.

Brielle reached her office and looked at how clean it was. "Damn... you wasted no time at all. I have food. Are you hungry?"

"Oh! I was just thinking that we would need food. I was just trying to decide if I should order something for us. Thank you for the food! As for the cleaning, that was nothing. I want to be useful to you." Jenna bounced over to Brielle happily.

Brielle set the bag down and pulled out the meals, and handed one to Jenna. She then pulled out two drinks, one was a Dr. Pepper, and the other was Pepsi. She handed the Pepsi to Jenna before sitting down. "I hope that you like the meal. This is usually what I get to eat. Leo picked it up for us while I was talking to Asurlon. After we eat, we are going to my house. I have work that I must bring home with me, and I will need your help protecting the information. Think of this as your first field mission."

Jenna's eyes light up as she was handed the food. "Thank you, I do not know how Leo would know what I like to eat or drink, but I guess maybe he made a wild guess, but I won't be thanking him. He still does not deserve my thanks. I love the idea of having my first field mission with you at your house… you would feel like I am imposing?"

"Imposing? Naw, my place is pretty empty, so do not be surprised when you come over." Brielle started to eat the food and sighed from the texture. After eating about half, she started typing on the computer. She pulled up the real estate page and messaged the agent, asking to view the place at eight in the morning tomorrow. Then closed the webpage and continued eating. "We will have another mission tomorrow. It will not be anything strenuous but bring a few sets of clothing with you."

Jenna's eyes lit up in excitement. "I will not mind. I bet that your house will reflect how you are. I can't want to see it!! Even if it not a lot." Jenna had sat down to eat and was happily eating the meal. "I think that I like your food choices. This tastes absolutely amazing. I am glad that I am getting to try something that you like. What kind of mission are we going on tomorrow? I am super excited as this is not something that I have done in the past. There are not a lot of people my age at the association, but that is not anyone's fault." She smiled sadly.

"It is nothing bad and might actually be a little fun." Brielle finished off the food and tossed it all in the bag. She emptied the bottle and tossed it in the recycling. "So go grab what you will need for a few days." Brielle smiled at Jenna, "Don't worry about being younger. I like the fact that I can treat you like my little sister."

Jenna polished off the food, added her garbage to the bag, and dropped the bottle into the recycling. "I will take this to the trash and go and get some of my things." Jenna grabbed the bag then skipped away.

Brielle sat back down and opened the window that she minimized before pulling it back up. She looked at the apartments that were for sale in the building. She clicked on the one near her place, nodding. Then she looked at the pictures and made notes of what would need to be altered. 'I think that this one will work for her, and it will not be too far from my unit. So if anything happens, I can give lead her a hand.' She closed the page and shut down the computer. Pulling out her phone, she emailed the listing to Asurlon and Leo.

~Looks good. I think that she will be able to work with that. As soon as you purchase that place, let us know, and I will make sure that the proper walling is installed.~ Leo's reply was almost instant.

~I was also thinking that maybe she should get a cat. It might give her a distraction. What do you and Asurlon think of this?~ Brielle was sitting texting quickly.

~Hmmmmm, Asurlon says go for it. It might be a good idea for her to have a companion. There is a pet store near your place, so why not add that to your list of things to do. Oh, Brielle, I want you to think about getting a cat for yourself. You have been alone for far too long, and that is something that you do not deserve. I want you to have some kind of a companion.~ Leo's Suggestion felt more like a command.

~Sigh, I do not know how you think that you could tell me how to live my life. I am not lonely, and I do not have time for a pet. Do you think that it would be fair for the kitten?~ Brielle let out a sigh and googled the pet store by her place. She was browsing through the kittens when Jenna came back.

"I'm all ready to go!" Jenna was pouncing at the door. She skipped over to Brielle's desk and peaked at the screen. "Are you thinking about getting a pet?"

Brielle shut down the computer and slipped on a pair of shades. "Sure. Why don't we go to the pet store before heading up to my apartment? If I find the right one that melts my heart, that is when I will buy a pet. Do you like cats?"

"I love cats. I always wanted one, but there has not been a time when I could own one." Jenna's words make Brielle sad. "Now, all I can think about is surviving. I am a young hunter now. I must make my family proud."

"I am sure that they are proud of you. There is not a lot of people that can live for others." Brielle picked up her shades and slipped them over her eyes, and walked out of the room. They walked to the elevator, and Brielle pushes the button for the parkade. "I hope that you don't get car sick."

"Thank you, will you listen to my story when I feel like talking about it?" Jenna watched the numbers go down on the elevator.

"Of course, it would be my honour to listen to your story. Not as your mentor but also as your friend." The elevator doors open, and then the two walk over to a sleek red convertible. Brielle hit the unlock unbutton on the key fob and hopped inside. She rolled the windows, and the ceiling opened up. When Jenna got in, Brielle held out a pair of sunglasses.

Jenna blushed and took the sunglasses. "Thank you, this is my first time being in a car like this. I feel unworthy." Jenna did her seatbelt, put on the sunglasses and held onto her bag.

Brielle pulled down the sunglasses and looked at Jenna, "there is always time to try something new and today is your lucky day. We are going to go out and have a blast." Brielle plunked Jenna's bag from her arms and tossed it in the back seat. She pushed the sunglasses back up, then ripped out of the parking stall, and the door to get out opened as they approached. Brielle smirked, then gunned it out of the parking lot and raced through traffic.

Jenna was holding on, but slowly she began to calm down. She started laughing as they pulled up to a mall. "What are we doing here?" looking confused.

Brielle parked the car, and the roof started to close. "I need to pick up a few things. I don't exactly have guests at my place. I need some extra items." Brielle got out, and the two walked into the mall; and Brielle locked the car as they walked. They went into a clothing store, and she watched as Jenna's eyes lit up. "Tell me if you see something that you want. I know that you will need some new clothes and a new backpack."

"Are you sure?" Jenna felt Brielle's finger over her lips to quiet her.

"Not another word. You need new things every once in a while. You deserve it. Come on and grab some new clothing." Waving her hands, Brielle walked into the room, pulled out a black cocktail dress and held it up to her body, then went and tried it on. She stepped out and showed Jenna, which earned her an applause. "I think that I will get this and wear it out of the store. If you do not mind. She handed the credit card over to the cashier after the tag was cut off. Now, what have you found?"
