40 Two Dozen Victims

~Oh, god. Be careful. You might get drunk off them. There is a reason that I eat them. The drunk blood in them will fuck you up.~ Yuki says this back and feeds a chocolate to Cedric.

"Our son?" Cedric eats the chocolate offered to him. "You two have been conversing all evening. Is there something that you need me to know?"

Yuki feels him lick the chocolate off her fingers. "It'll be okay for now. It would be best if you do not get involved with his issues."

~ Don't make your mother worry about you. It just adds more to my plate, Ahriman.~ Cedric speaks to Ketan.

Sighing, Ketan looked at Brielle, and his eyes traced her as she walked through the crowd. ~I won't. Everything that I do is to keep Sylvie alive. Do you want me to let her go as well?~ He threw the box away, and he followed her with his eyes, and he subtly adjusted his pants.

~I would like you to do what Sylvie wants, but at the same time, we cannot impede Kitsune. So far now, I leave this alone.~ Cedric ended the connection.

Brielle pulled her scythe and stopped another vampire from killing a pup. The vampire didn't stop his actions, so Brielle took off his head and caught the pup. She looked around at someone that lost a pup and spotted Nicole. The pup was crying and freaking out in her arms, even with Brielle rocking him gently. She walked with the pup in her arms. "Sorry, I smell like supernatural blood but do you recognize this pup?"

Nicole took the boy, the crying stopped, and the boy looked up at Nicole, completely calm. "I will take care of him until his family is found. If they no longer exist, then I will keep and raise him like my own. Do not worry; you are doing the best that you can."

"Thank you. If I had seen his parents, I would've returned him myself. He is a lot calmer with you than me. Sorry for this." She looked at the pup and saw his ears, and she smiled.

Mark looked at the pup and sniffed him. "I do not recognize the scent, but I will help find his home. I am a tracker by nature. I will be able to find his family, and as Nicole said, we will take him in if he doesn't have a home to go back to. He does seem to be a red wolf, so I can start looking there."

"Alright. Thank you. I will leave him in your competent hands." Someone sneaks up behind Brielle and goes to stab her in the heart, and she jumps in the air and uses the person's shoulders to jump over them and holds the scythe to the person's beck. "Did you think that I do not watch my back? I would never leave myself defenceless." With the scythe resting on the neck of her attacker.

The werewolf moves his hand up and uses his claws to fight against Brielle. "Stupid hunter. You would be a good sacrifice to the Queen. I wonder what type of praise I could get for killing you?"

Brielle keeps fighting him, and she feels a familiar presence at her back. "Nothing, that is what you will get for me. I am not someone you can kill." Brielle hits a button, and spikes appear along the blade, stabbing into his hands. Hearing him howl, she continues to hold the scythe up.

Ketan killed the one going for her back and then leaned against her as the alcohol started to affect him. He holds onto Brielle's Scythe. "Do what you need to; I will hold him in place."

Nodding, Brielle pulled up a pair of cuffs, and she cuffed his hands, and they hissed around his skin. Then she managed to get the second one on before she cuffed his legs. The scythe moved away. She nodded to this one, and Casimir took the wolf away.

Ketan held the scythe and used his powers to finish transporting the offering away, and then in the air, some fireworks went off.

Brielle watched, then turned to Ketan. "Do you still want to chat? If so, you can go back to my room. I already know that you will make it there on your own." She took her scythe back and watched as Ketan smiled before disappearing from her sight. Shaking her head, she went back to the room where Will was with all the children. She leaned on the door frame. "You look like you are having fun."

Will looked up from the book that he was reading and smiled. "I love kids as much as you do, so. I know that you would do the same thing if you were in my place. Besides, it calmed them down. I have started the paperwork procedures, and Asurlon asked that we bring all the human ones back with us."

"We can't defy that order. I was planning on doing just that. Have you been able to separate who is who?" Brielle looked at the two dozen sleeping bodies.

Susan stood beside Brielle now and looked at the children. "All these poor souls. There are only three that are not human. The baby is a witch. That boy is a warlock, and this boy is a vampire."

Brielle turned and hugged Susan. "Do you know where we can connect the supernaturals to their parents? I do not want to take them back with me."

There was a female vampire that was freaking out in the crowd, she overheard what was being said, and she rushed to the two. "Is it my son? Please tell me that you found my boy."

"Mama!" The boy jumped up and ran to his mother. "I am sorry I did not want to leave your side, but the guy covered my mouth and then the next thing moment, I woke up on the guy's shoulder. This lady was the one that saved me, and that gentleman has been telling us human stories."

Looking at the two hunters, tears filled her eyes. "Seriously, thank you both so much. I appreciate it. If you ever need assistance, do not hesitate to call me." She pulled out her card. "I am Aurora, and this is Robbie. Thank you for not killing the young ones."

Brielle took the offered card and slipped it into her pocket. "It is our pleasure. We do not feel that the children are the ones at fault, and they should never be killed. Innocent unless they go on a killing spree, but your son did nothing wrong. Robbie, you were so well-behaved." Brielle went to the counter and picked up a unique treat bag, and handed it to him. "Have a good evening, Aurora."

Overcome with her emotions, Aurora hugged Brielle. "Thank you, I promise you that he will grow up to be a perfect gentleman. What do you say, Robbie?"

"Thank you very much, Big Sister. I hope that I can see you again because you were so cool!" He took the treat and checked with his mother before walking away with it.

Brielle's heart warmed, and she placed her hand over her heart. "You are most welcome. Go and remember to listen to your mother."

Aurora took her son's empty hand, and the two walked away while Robbie was going into detail over what happened.

"You are really great with kids. I will take the baby and warlock. I can find his home and the girl, I will raise her. I didn't know that my sister's daughter was still alive. She was kidnapped just before my sister was murdered." She walked to the crib and picked up the baby. "Celeste, oh my sweet little niece. I am glad that you are safe." She kneeled down at the end, looked into his crystal blue eyes. "Hello, I am Susan. Do you remember what clan you are from?"

The boy nods his head and looks at the two hunters. "I was told not to say anything that could get our clan found out, but if it is just you and me, I will tell you… oh, and the baby."

"Go ahead, Susan. We have our hands full with the human children. I trust you with the two children. Oh and here," Brielle quickly packed a bag and handed it over, but the boy took it. "It is stuff for Celeste. I do not know what you have at your store for her, but you can take everything in the bag."

"Thanks, Brielle. See you later." She waved and walked with the boy back to her store.

"So, what do you want to do with the children?" Brielle looked at Will.

"Go on up to bed. I can handle these rugrats on my own. Most of them are sleeping anyways." Will looked at Brielle.

"I won't be able to sleep. I will start looking up the missing person's reports. As I get the hits, I will contact the authorities that are in charge of the children's cases." Brielle walked to the door then turned, "Remember to call Asurlon. We will have to bring the children to the headquarters for memory alteration."
