That was my mate.

My mate is a female.

She is not a werewolf.

No shes not a werewolf, i pretty sure by the look of her ears that shes a Pointy, and a pretty popular one at that.

i catch myself staring at her and i abruptly look away, going back to ordering my drink and then walking back to the table.

Miko is still inside Sunny's hair when i get back to the table, but i'm pretty sure he notices my discomfort, so he floats out her hair and jumps into my arms licking my hand. i give him a scratch behind his ear as i go to sit down.

" uhh Star, is you ok girl?" Sunny asks, also noticing my discomfort.

"umm yeah i'm good why?" i say back not meeting her gaze.

" you look a bit frazzled." Eli says, with a worried look.

all i say is oh, and then i go back to petting Miko.

Of course its a lie, but i cant just tell them that i met my mate, they would'nt understand because magics mates are usually found by there familiars, i don't know how the familiar knows, but to this day the familiar has never gotten it wrong. But with me being half werewolf, i can also find my mate just by sniffing them out, or by seeing them.

also for some reason my back has started to..burn a little bit. but i just brush it off.

Suddenly, the scent comes back stronger than before, i litteraly can feel my canines coming out, and my ears and tail begining to grow. i try my hardest to stop the forced transformation, and i'm able to force my ears and tail back in. but my canines are fully there.

Miko looks up at me, and i swear i can see a glint of worry in his eyes, but then his eyes dart up and he jumps. Everyone at the table is just sitting there quietly not knowing what to say, but then they all look up at who Miko just jumped to.

And then Sunny's eyes widen.

And Eli's eyes widen.

And Michelle's eyes widen,

and by the way my body just reacted i automatically know, who there looking at.

"Fuck." is all i say as i look up as well.

"Nice to meet you too." My mate says with a big smile.
