Ancient Language

Little Mara had a lot of questions, and she knew exactly where to find the answers. She was sick of Heinrich telling her, IN THE LIBRARY.

So, she took a break and then go to find some answers. However, she felt that her age was insufficient for her to understand many things, although her instincts caused her to understand.

Well, instinct makes her understanding and embrace things as they are, without obstacles, but it comes from her own soul, not from the seven-year-old Mara. At the sight of it, she felt as if her body was not hers, but someone else's, but she couldn't pinpoint what made her so uneasy.

Heinrich sensed his Little Mistress' feelings, the connection they share in a soul bond, which is why he understands her discomfort; so he sighed and give some comfort to her, "You are you, your body is yours, not someone else's, your soul is your person, it always has been..."

"Heinrich, why can't you explain it easily, and said it giving circles around?" pouting her lips.

"Are you saying redundant? No, I can't... those things, if you are good enough, are things, that you might understand, besides the..." after hesitating for a few seconds he continues "Even though you are a little girl, you're foremost the Leader of the Vampire's Clan, you don't have to feel that way, your attitude has changed after your Mother passed away, and you had your first glimpse in the past...," she said after a few seconds hesitating.

He continued: "With all of this drastic transition in you, experience is not something you achieve immediately, but something that you master little by little but that you want the simple side of everything..."

He hesitated for a few seconds before adding, "If you need wisdom quicker, you must awaken your Bloodline at least 80% in order to access your TRUE Supreme Leader inheritance," he ended.

Since she saw her pillar in that bed in that state, Little Mara knew that the meager yearning that her Mommy used to tell her stories before bedtime no longer existed. She did not know what happened next, but she remembered hearing a warm voice say, 'When you awaken your power, you will reign over them and never lose someone important again.'

Those were the very words she heard right before losing consciousness, and she wanted not to pursue them any further because she knew she'd get there, eventually.

"When I discovered Mommy's body, I heard a voice speak to me, and later, I sensed an energy invade my body; do you know what it was?" she tilted her head and furrowed her brow

"Oh, surely the previous Leader's last life force, as well as her wishes, are with you,"

"What exactly do you mean?" she asked with an exasperated sigh.

"That she left a will with you, her unique talent as Leader is a mystery to all, but she realized you couldn't rule everyone with your age, so she wanted to leave it with you as a means of security," Heinrich calmly explained.

Blinking her eyes, she spoke, "That... that means she gave me her power, but what kind of power is it?" asked clenching her tiny fists.

"You'll have to find out for yourself, Little Mistress," with a flat tone.

"Does it bother you, that you can explain it to me?"

"No, Little Mistress, it's because I know you'll torment me in the future for wanting to explain every single thing to you, making you seem stupid and not innocent."

"I'll find fault in you in any way, I'm not sure which is the hesitation to react..."

Amusement in his voice Heinrich told her, "Little Mistress, I know you very well, and I'm certain that you will, so I prefer to remain silent..." Heinrich paused, "Besides, not everyone has to be told; you'll have to read it and see it for yourself..."

"Well, let's get out of here..." Fixing her eyes on the door, she turned around and asked, "And now how do we unlock the door?"

"Hmm, you can make it giving an order applying the ancient language command; you awakened 10% of your Bloodline, allowing you to enter the most fundamental memories, the ancient language." stated as a matter of fact.

"It's the language that was spoken centuries ago, an old and forgotten language." Heinrich added with a melancholic voice.

It is a language only known to the Clan, apparently only the higher-ups are allowed to learn it, but today there is no one who can teach it.

"If we want to improve, you must convince Elder Taros to teach the language," Heinrich, decisive for what will happen, the clan will need to grow.

But what he didn't realize was the look on little Mara's face the moment she heard Elder Taros and teaching in the same sentence and not in a positive sense, her expression was so funny that Heinrich could have laughed out loud.

Heinrich felt that something was not right with his Little Mistress, but he paid little attention.

But when Heinrich heard no response from her, he found it suspicious, until he heard her voice, "Taros can't be a teacher, he explains things out of order," Mara pouted with indignation.

"Oh, you mean what I told you about the door?" realization came to Heinrich, continuing, "Well, you'll have to learn it yourself, and teach it to the rest then. Your long journey begins the moment you walk out this door."

'Sigh,' "Why is everything so hard?" little Mara looked emotionally weary.

"Remember not to let the consciousness or spirit of the door devour your feelings, we don't want you to become a killing machine with no regard for any life around you," Heinrich couldn't help but remind her.

"When you say 'devour feelings' does that mean that's why I feel indifferent to many things? But if so, why didn't I feel it even from before?"

"You felt it from before because the residue of your Mother's will so willed it, and if you were indifferent to the knowledge that she had a converted human as a son, and that he's suspected of the murder, it might shock you."

But what Heinrich doesn't know, is that deep inside her, she doesn't really care, since she was born she has been indifferent to many things, the reason? The soul living inside her does not allow her to have powerful feelings towards any peculiar person.

That is something that little Mara is well aware of; once she asked her mother what it meant, since the only feeling she feels towards her mother is not love for a mother, but a fondness for a vassal. And she still remembers what she told her then.

"Mommy, why don't I feel a mother's love for you, but an affection for a person who should take care of me?" the Little 3-year-old Mara furrowed her eyes tilting her head.

Lana, who got surprised to hear what the little girl said, contemplated how to respond, "Maybe because it is my duty, mother or not, as a vassal it is my duty to take care of you and protect you until my last breath." With eyes full of determination she continued, "Besides, you are someone destined for greatness, I, a mere Leader, amass nothing in your presence."

When little Mara remembered that, she immediately understood, her Mommy knew her true identity, she knew Mara would become the Leader, but not just any Leader, but a TRUE Supreme Leader.

"Hey, Heinrich, what's a TRUE Supreme Leader?" Little Mara narrowed her eyes.

"Well, a TRUE Supreme Leader, is the Leader with absolute power within the Vampire Clan, the last one to be recorded in the common history that every Vampire has read was Eveline, who was the one who created and fostered the Clan in this place, leaving the Gate of Destiny here, to safeguard the seat you see in the distance."

After a pause, hesitating to continued, "Eveline was one pseudonym, her proper name has been buried in the past, since then the name of every creature of the supernatural world must be hidden, especially that of the Vampires and Lycans, Werewolves."

Little Mara, decided not to ask more, because she heard the hesitant tone with which he spoke, implying that he could not talk much about it.

"Wait, you said consciousness or spirit of the door?" Little Mara furrowed her eyebrows.

"Oh, yes. I told you before that the door has its own consciousness, and after that they create a spirit, is something like me, but a low grade spirit."

Not continue to give any attention to Heinrich, Little Mara had it enough of being here.

Little Mara, looked at the door, put her right hand on it and closed her eyes, concentrating, closing her senses; she didn't realize at that moment that she did it is something she normally shouldn't do, but her instincts guided her how to proceed.

As she opened her beautiful bright golden eyes, one word came out of her mouth, with authority, causing Heinrich's energy to fluctuate.

"KHOL!"

Seconds later, the door slowly opened, and it startled the people on the other side, it had been five hours since Little Mara entered the other side of the door.
