Spirit Grass Town

"With my hack, if I can't be the strongest in this world then I'll just kill myself because I will be an idiot if I will not abuse it," Li Wei said with the resolve of what he will be.

The next thing Li Wei did is to click the yes button in his panel. After that, he feels a huge surge of Qi going into his dantian and he feels like his body is filled with vigor, even though he didn't feel his power growing stronger at least he feels like his body is undergoing a slight transformation.

"Breaking through cultivation in this world is practically useless if you don't have martial art skills. Breaking through will not make your power grow stronger however your maximum amount of Qi and your body's vitality will increase. To grow stronger, you need to have vessels to release this qi to make your power grow stronger and that vessel will be martial art skills" Li Wei said while remembering the moments that he neglected his martial art skills in order to have a fast breakthrough only to know that his power didn't have that much of a change only his Qi and vitality.

"Now I can make sure to correct my mistakes back then and with my experience and hack I will know what to do in order not to waste any effort," Li Wei said while walking through the door.

He needs to take a look outside and buy a map of this area, it's been a long time since he has been here and there might be some changes in the area.

Going outside he decided to go to the innkeeper first to return the key to his room and inform them that he will go outside and will be back later, he still has 7 days to spend in this inn based on what his predecessor's memory is.

He walked outside his room and soon he found the innkeeper. The innkeeper is still young, she has long black hair and she is so small she looks like a cute loli even though there are signs of her body undergoing puberty.

"This is the key to room 3, I'll be back later," Li Wei said to the loli in front of him.

" Ahhh! Then we will be waiting for you to return young master, if you want to ask something then just ask Yu Yan about it!" Yu Yan replied in an enthusiastic manner.

"Then is there a place that sells a map in this area?" Li Wei replied to her with a smile. Who won't be smiling after being greeted like that by a cute creature? With his clothing, he also looks like a typical young master, though he hasn't seen his face for now since there is no mirror in his room.

"If you're a traveler young master and needs a map, then it will be best if you go to the market. There should be many merchants selling maps in there. You don't need to worry about being cheated since most of the merchants have the same price, if they don't then it will mean that they are trying to rip you off!" Yu Yan said while trying to remind him to be wary of the unscrupulous merchants.

"HAHAHA! Thanks for your reminders, don't worry I won't get cheated. I'll be leaving first then." Li Wei said his farewell to the young girl and then he goes outside. After leaving the inn he can already see many people doing various things, some are carrying weapons. They should be the cultivators of this town.

The time is still morning and he hasn't eaten breakfast yet so the first thing he did is to go near a stall that sells steamed buns.

"How much is this?" Li Wei asked the auntie who is selling the steamed buns.

"5 copper coins for 1, this is the best-steamed buns you can find in this town young master!" the auntie replied to him while trying to coax him into believing that it is really the best stall that sells steamed buns.

"I'll buy 4 then" Li Wei replied and paid 20 copper coins to her. He needs to do many things that he doesn't even care about the auntie in front of him now. After the auntie gave him the steamed buns he quickly ate two of them and drinking water in the jug from his storage ring, while the rest of the steamed buns will be used later when he will be finding the spirit grass. After buying the steamed buns he goes to the market and asks the merchants the price of the map.

"I've been asking the merchants sometime now and there are at least many of them who have the same price and based on my memories of the game that is just the right price. I've brought it for 50 copper coins, I only have 25 copper coins on me now, I need to make sure that I will be able to get those spirit grass" Li Wei said while marking the places on the map.

"The place where I can find those spirit grass is in the north-eastern part and it is mostly mountains. It should be in these places!" Li Wei said to himself while marking a mountain in the map in his hand. Even though it's still morning he still needs to hurry to have a better chance of finding those spirit grass.

Going to the northern gate of the town, he quickly saw the 10-meter tall wall and it's impressive because of its height and this tall wall should probably be enough in case beasts of Foundation Realm attacks. The authority should have given it great attention in order to build this.

After admiring the wall that he has seen many times in the game he also joined the line for people that leaves the town and when it is his turn he showed his small wooden board that has similarity to a dog tag to the town guards that are in gate, this small wooden board serves as his identity card as a visitor of this town.

" Are you new to this town? It will be better if you avoid dangerous places for your safety" The guard 'kindly' reminded him even though scorn is apparent to their expressions. They are cultivators and to a rural area like these, being the town guard is the best glory they can have for their life since they are just weaklings to other cultivators.

Even though this town is rural, there are still many people that live here. Based on Li Wei's memory of the game then this town should have 100,000 people and that is already plenty considering that there are many towns and villages near this place that you can travel for three days by foot.

" Yes, I'm new to this town and you don't need to worry I'm not dumb to do stupid things" Li Wei replied with his deep voice and not in a jovial manner that he usually has with people. Why would he even reply to them in a respectful tone if they don't even deserve an ounce of it? Even though they are stronger than him now that doesn't mean that they can just bully and hurt him here.

It will leave a bad image to the town and some traveling merchants and people might not want to go here if they were to hear gossip about the way they treat their visitors.

"Heh, good that you know what is right for you. Now off you go!" One of the guards said to him after using his Qi and caressing the wooden board.

Li Wei just left to do his own business and not minding them. He has already met enough people with that attitude because it is the norm here and even before his turn he can already hear them making fun of people with no powers.

However, when he is already outside he can still hear them saying "He is just a brat, even though he has nice clothes enough for a good standing however there is no young master over here with that kind of clothes and he doesn't even have guards so it's apparent that he is just probably nothing"

"Right, right, even if he is some young master he isn't from our town so I'm sure that the town lord will protect us" Another guard stated

"Besides he is just in the 1st Stage of Qi Gathering Realm so there is really no need to worry" Another guard added.

It is obvious that they are doing it deliberately, for him to hear maybe because they didn't like the fact that he doesn't answer them in a respectful attitude.

"They are just people who don't know how big this world is," Li Wei said in his proud tone, it is apparent to his tone that he doesn't take their words seriously. It can even be said that he truly doesn't care because in this world, he hates most cultivators for a multitude of reasons.

First is they are arrogant with their measly power and they have the mentality to always bully those who are weaker than them so most of the time people with no background are always going to be bullied and oppressed. Of course, after that poor guy who got bullied will then got his own power he will also try to boss those who are weaker than them to bring satisfaction to themselves.

This cycle will just repeat itself until grudges are born and things will turn brutal and bloody. Most cultivators have the most toxic and cancerous mentality in this world, you will see the difference between the cultivators and those who are not able to cultivate is just based on how they act.

Those who are not able to cultivate are more often honest when it came to business since only their reputation can save them if they have no power. However, that is also the reason why they can't expand their business, at most they can only live a life with a small business.

"Anyway let's forget about them, they are just cannon fodders in these boundless worlds after all" Li Wei reminded his self.
