Let's catch some more

After leaving the Power plant, he continued to travel forward.

But this time, he didn't train nor got involved in any sort of Pokemon battles.

His journey was halted when he came across another cave; to be precise it was a long rock tunnel.

Infested with rock type Pokemon, but there was no new type just some Onix and Zubats.

After fighting with Zapdos, Vidal came into conclusion that Starmie should be trained differently now.

After catching Alakazam, Starmie was completely focused on psychic type moves neglecting water types which were it's strong points.

So, he was thinking of staying in rock tunnel for some days to train Starmie and Alakazam.

But Vidal heard a noise coming from exit of the rock tunnel.

It was as if someone was using a Vacuum cleaner and quite big at that.

Exiting the cave he again saw a familiar large cat shaped balloon floating in the air.

After seeing someone was there the team rocket trio started saying their signature lines.

"♪ Jessie: Prepare for trouble!

James: Make it double!

Jessie: To protect…"

But after seeing the face of this person clearly, it was stopped abruptly.

They immediately tried to run away.

But when they were just about to turn, they start to float in the air.

They landed in front of Vidal.

Vidal has face of sadness, "I was hoping to hear your complete motto. I was so excited but you completely ruined it by stopping mid-way."

"I am very sad. Who is going to make this poor fan happy?"

A big bag full of Pokeball, two purses full of money was lying on the ground.

Vidal was waving at the balloon flying away, "Please do continue to make trouble for my brother. If possible make it double."

Vidal firstly checked started checking the Pokeballs; most of them were already caught by Vidal but one Pokemon caught his eyes.

It was going to be another addition to his team, a Growlithe.

Growlithe is a pretty powerful fire type Pokemon from Kanto region; he was very satisfied with it.

Putting the bag on the back of his bike, he stormed towards Lavender town as fast as he can.

Lavender town,

"You stop right there?" Vidal was stopped by a loud shout.

He turned to find Officer Jenny coming towards him.

"What are you doing with this many Pokeballs? Who are you? Show me your ID."

After showing his Pokedex and describing his reasons to have Pokeballs.

Vidal was followed to Pokecenter where he called Professor Oak and transferred all the Pokemons to his lab.

Vidal's main purpose of coming to this town was for Pokemon tower, a place to get ghost type Pokemons.

But firstly, "Everyone come out."

Alakazam and Starmie looked around, but Growlithe immediately started to run and circle around Vidal.

A cheerful, happy and loyal puppy Pokemon; Vidal caressed its head and fur and introduced it to Starmie and Alakazam.

Starmie has no face only gem and Alakazam with a skinny body has never changing face; Growlithe was the only one who was able to clearly show his emotions at this time.

He was bit skeptical on catching ghost types from this region, but expectation can be made if a good Pokemon was found.

He was trying to catch a complete team before starting another training session. He noticed the development of Alakazam and Starmie was fast when training with each other.

Pokemon Tower has quite a reputation because of it's ghost types Pokemon scaring and playing pranks among people.

Entering the Pokemon tower, he was plunged into dark and gloomy environment.

The tower consists of seven floor and also known as burial ground for Pokemon.

Going from floor to floor, Alakazam was in his tow to help him with the Gastlys and occasional Hunters.

They were not coming for battle or to attack, just trying to scare him off from the building.

With the help of Alakazam, he immediately caught these Pokemon one each and searched other floor for the specific Pokemon he wanted to catch for his team.

Disappointed Vidal started to descend the floor.

On the ground floor, the lights were suddenly turned off; two red eyes approached him from the dark.

The light again suddenly turned on, and the Pokemon with red eyes was in front of him with its tongue sticking out; maybe it was trying to scare him.

"Oh I have been looking for you." Vidal said with bored eyes, he was already prepared for the Pokemon.

"Alakazam use psybeam, and don't let it run away."

"Starmie come out."

Having no dark type, he has no Pokemon who can deal effective damage to a ghost type.

So his only way was to use complete brute force.

The Pokemon easily escaped from Alakazam, but Starmie can stall him with water gun.

Using moves like hydro pump inside the tower will be more harmful to tower than the ghost type Pokemon.

"Alakazam use future sight," He can only bet on this move at this time.

The Pokemon called Gengar was running through one wall to another, it was just having fun unaware of what was about to hit it.

He has already caught Gastly which can be eventually evolved into Gengar, but because of being a ghost type it will be more convenient to train a Gengar directly.

It is a ghost so increasing its physical strength is out of the way, so directly training its fully evolved form to increase the power of its moves is more advantageous.

The three energy balls landed on the body of the Gengar. (In the last battle, Alakazam used calm mind before using future sight so it boosted its attack to make five energy balls.)

Vidal immediately threw the Pokeball and 1sec, 2 sec, 3sec…

It was finally caught. Vidal took a long breath of relief.

Now he has got four Pokemons or Five if we were to count the Eevee egg too.

Now, there was only one slot left for him to make full team, and the next Pokemon was quite a pain to catch.

Vidal exited the Pokemon tower to find a familiar face entering the Pokemon tower.

"You… What .. are you doing here?" a boy with a Pikachu on his shoulder asked in shock.

"Just catching some Pokemon and taking a stroll."

"But you said you wouldn't…" Ash said.

"Well that was before. Now I have changed my mind."

"But what are you doing here. I don't remember there are any Pokemon gyms around here."

Ash told him how the gym leader of Saffron city gym turned his friends into doll, and he is searching for a ghost type Pokemon to beat her Psychic type Pokemon and turn his friends back.

"Oh. Then go inside there are plenty of ghost type Pokemons. I will wait you outside."

Well it is the job responsibility of big brother to help his younger brother, but his brother is Ash.

His brother is already travelling all around the place at the age of 10, fighting evil team rockets and in the future even saved the world many times. There was nothing to worry about, except for him dying sometimes...

When Ash finally came out, a hunter was following him.

"You don't have Pokeball, I can give you some."

"No, I am just bringing him to the gym and fight."

Then Vidal remembered, this is the gym where Ash won by making the gym leader laugh.

"Let's go." Ash said.

"You leave first; it will take me at least a day to reach Saffron city." Vidal had to catch Pokemons on the way.

Vidal just waved his hands and Ash ran away; he still had to save his friends.
