Sven P.O.V
It had been almost a week and I was beginning to get frustrated. Gary was spiralling into a depression while Gavin and his wolf were pining for their mate. Rhea kept telling us her brother was still staking out Blue Moon and it wouldn't be safe for us to return.
"I keep telling you, you can't go back yet." Rhea said as she saw the three of us make plans to leave.
"Why!" Gavin yelled "You haven't given us any reason to actually stay."
"Calm down or I'll make you calm down." Rhea stood up. An aura emanated from her and I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
"I'm sorry. My mate she's about to go into heat. She's scared to be alone." Gavin sat down on the little couch. I understood now why he was so tense and restless. A female wolf in heat was a serious event. If she was in the company of any male wolf, her scent would over power him. She needed Gavin so they could mate curbing her urges and her heat scent.
"Don't worry, you'll get to her in time." Rhea smiled.
"How do you know? In fact, how do you know your brother is at Blue Moon?" I was intrigued.
"Blake and I are twins. We can sense what the other is doing." She walked over to the sink and poured herself a glass of water.
"If that's the case, wont he know you're here with us?" Gary asked leaning against the wall.
Rhea giggled and placed her now empty glass in the sink. "I keep forgetting you're not like us. No, he doesn't know where I am or about you, but he suspects. Johnathan has been in contact with him about your little venture to our pack. He's told him I vanished soon after. Blake is waiting for you to return to Blue Moon so he can kill you. My brother is very good at deducing. But don't worry, I can see there will be a matter he needs to attend to before the end of the day. He will be returning to Golden Sun by nightfall." She sank herself down onto one of the dining chairs, a glazed look on her face.
"But how can you see?" Gavin asked the very question we were all thinking.
"That is one of our gifts, seeing the future. Diana had a similar ability. Siren's and witches possess similar traits but only sirens can manipulate the mind." She looked at us and sighed. "And before you ask, no I can not see why Blake is targeting Sophie. He trained with a very skilled witch who taught him to block certain aspects of him mind. I on the other hand, taught myself hence why he can't tell where I am. I can sense him clawing at my barrier though, he's very determined." She chuckled shaking her head.
This was getting crazier. If Diana had possessed abilities, I wondered whether Sophie had inherited any of them? It made sense about the mind manipulation. That was probably how Blake was keeping Sophie's wolf at bay.
"We will leave in the morning." Rhea stated before retreating to her room. "I need to lie down."

The next morning we were packed and ready to go. Rhea insisted that she should go shopping. She wanted to make a good impression on her cousin. I suspected she just wanted to take one last look at human civilisation before returning to werewolf territory. Gavin was again acting agitated, and Gary had withdrawn into himself further. I was worried about my son and friend and only hoped our return to Blue Moon would alleviate their fears.
By the time we left the motel it was one in the afternoon. We were about five hours from the Blue Moon territory border, and we spent most of that journey in silence. At one stage, Gavin's hands hugged tightly to the steering wheel, his knuckles turning white. I knew he was angry at Rhea for taking so long with her shopping, but he didn't blame her. I looked over to her and gave her a knowing nod towards Gavin. She smiled and leant forward creating the aura that relaxed the tension within the car.
By the time we turned into the pack territory it was quarter to seven. The sun was setting, causing the sky to turn into a palette of deep oranges and pinks. I tried linking with the pack hospital but was unable to reach anyone. It made me a little concerned but when they were busy it was not always possible to receive someone's link.
"The Alpha has called a pack meeting." Gavin spat out. "Lisa just linked me. We'll meet her at the bakery." He sped up as we passed the rows of trees on either side of the road.
Soon the sign of the derelict cottages came into view, but something was notably different. Gavin slowed the car down as we inspected one of the cottages.
"What the?..." Gavin asked before smiling. "Maybe Sophie has been a good influence on our Alpha." We cruised past house after house that had the signs of recent repairs. I smiled. She definitely was making a difference to our pack.
We travelled to our little town centre and parked outside the bakery. The lights were on inside and Gavin quickly jumped out and sprinted inside. I helped Gary and Rhea while explaining to Rhea that Gavin and his mate, Lisa have some of the best pastries in the territory. She smiled with happiness. She'd had the privilege of trying pastries in the human town we were staying at and I knew she would love these even more.
We walked inside to find Lisa and Gavin in a passionate embrace. I cleared my throat and Lisa began peeling herself away from Gavin.
"Gav please your Dad is here." She giggled as he kissed all over her face.
"He knows how much I missed you. He can wait." Gavin replied.
"Actually babe I have to get this finished. I'm already running late for the meeting but if I don't get this boxed up before I leave Luna Bianca will be furious. She's scheduled a baby shower for the future Luna tomorrow." Gavin and I held our breath. So, Tatiana had finally wormed her way in. "What is the time?" Lisa asked.
"Its five to seven." Gary said from the doorway.
"Oh damn it. This will have to wait." Lisa said running around the counter and removing her apron.
"What's the meeting about?" Gavin asked. Rhea giggled next to Gary, but we didn't pay her any attention. My mind was occupied with Sophie's welfare and I feared her heart would soon be broken.
"You know how this pack likes to gossip." She started as she grabbed her bag and keys and headed for the door. "Oh hello, who are you?" She stopped in front of Rhea.
"I'm Rhea." She extended a hand and Lisa shook it before looking back at Gavin.
"Right. Well nice to meet you Rhea." She pushed everyone out the door and locked it behind her. "Rumours have been circulating but what I can gather is the Alpha wants to initiate your friend Sophie into the pack. Then he plans to formally name the future Luna." She began walking briskly up towards the pack house.
"What time is the meeting scheduled to start?" I asked looking at my watch.
"Seven." Lisa said.
"What! It's seven now!" Gavin yelled and began to jog.
I tried to link Eric, I had to stop him from making a big mistake. But I had forgotten that protocol dictated the Alpha block his mind link during a pack meeting to prevent an avalanche of questions and comments from all pack members. We jogged and trotted our way towards the pack house knowing it would take us a good fifteen minutes to walk there. We couldn't have used the car because the roads would have been blocked.
"Damn it." Gavin muttered under his breath. "I can't get a hold of any pack house members."
"Don't worry son, we'll fix this." I patted him on the shoulders which he shrugged off.
"No we won't if he declares Tatiana as the future Luna." He was visibly upset. Rhea giggled again and smirked.
As we reached the outskirts of the pack house, we could hear Eric's alpha voice boom out. Our jog-like walking turned into running. We veered around the corner and saw the stage. Sophie stood next to Eric they had begun the initiation, their hands linked as their blood leaked from them into the cup below. Eric smiled at Sophie who grinned in return. A chatter of voices ran through our minds welcoming Sophie to the pack. I took a deep breath as Sophie moved next to James and Luke giving them both a little smile. Luke grinned and patted her on the back. She held a tissue in her hand, stemming the flow of blood. Eric remained on stage. He held up a hand to hush the crowd.
"Fellow pack members. As I explained before there has been turmoil over the past couple of months. But no longer. Tonight, we welcomed Sophie as one of us but that is not all. Tonight, I wish to introduce you to your future Luna and my mate."
The crowd buzzed with excitement. Several people began whispering about Tatiana and then about Sophie, but I was too anxious to focus on their discussions. How did Tatiana become Eric's mate and why was Sophie so calm? Had she accepted his rejection?
"Your future Luna has been through so much. I want you all to know she has made me a better person and a better Alpha. She has shown me love when I thought it was not possible. As a surprise announcement I can confirm that through our love your future Alpha has been conceived. Together we will lead our pack in unison and harmony."
More whispers and buzzing emanated from the crowd. I craned my neck looking for Tatiana. She must be waiting off to the side. It would be typical of her to make a grand entrance. My eyes locked onto Sophie who was smiling. I was confused. What happened next nearly knocked me over. Eric turned towards James and Luke before holding out his hand. To our surprise Sophie grabbed his hand and stepped forward.
"Pack members of Blue Moon, I give you your future Luna." Eric grabbed Sophie around the waist, and they kissed. The crowd cheered before they broke apart smiling lovingly at each other.
Gary, Gavin, and I stepped forward. "WHAT!" we yelled in unison while Rhea giggled hysterically.
