"What do you mean?" I asked continuing to stand my ground. I would not show him fear.
"I didn't expect you to come to me so willingly." He looked at me with lust and wanting.
"Why did you do this to me? I…I don't understand what you want." His hand moved to my arm and he gently stroked up and down. I felt nothing, nothing like before when he touched me in my dream.
"Darling, you do understand. We are meant to be together. Eric is using you for his own personal gain. He doesn't want you as a Luna." His hand went to my bump and he stroked my belly. I didn't move. I didn't want to move. "This pup, I'll raise as my own. He's mine just as much as he is yours."
"But he's Eric's. Eric won't stop till he gets his son back." I was going to play this his way. Just to see how far we'd get. Anger flashed across Blake's face. My words must have got to him.
"Does he know it's a boy?" Blake looked into my eyes. He truly was fearsome, but I was not afraid.
"He suspects but only through the premonitions I've shared with him." Blake's hands continued to explore my body. I shuddered a little giving a tiny piece of myself to his touch. I reached out to Dove in the hope she would keep my mind clear, but I couldn't reach her.
"How about this for a premonition."
Blake placed his hand on my cheek, and we were instantly transported to a room. The carpet was a thick plush red. The walls had dark brown panelling edged in gold. A humble but snug cot stood in one corner. A four-poster bed jutted out on the other side of the room. My mirror image sat on a plush two-seater red sofa watching a small bundle, lying in the cot. I watched myself stand and approach the cot and smile. I walked over as well and stared down at the baby in the cot. The small bundle was perfect. She looked just like me. I couldn't help but smile.
The door gently opened and in ran a small boy who I recognised as my son towards my doppelgänger before she scooped him and twirling him around. He giggled which was followed by hushing from Blake who entered the room after him. He leant towards her and kissed her with passion. They were deeply in love and my heart ached for them.
"Eric, its time for your nap." Blake said. I was shocked, did he just call my boy Eric?
Eric shook his head and refused to be transferred from his mother to Blake. She smiled knowingly at Blake and walked Eric towards another room. Blake bent over the cot and stroked the little girl's cheek as she slept. A few minutes passed. His gaze was still fixed upon his daughter when my clone re-entered the room. A look of lust spread across her face as she approached Blake.
"He'll settle down in a minute." She reached behind Blake's neck bringing him down to her lips. "I think its time we start with baby number 3."
Blake smirked as he kissed down her neck. "Anything for my queen." He picked her up wrapping her legs around his waste and walked her to the bed, throwing her down.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" A voice sounded behind me and I whirled around.
"Why is my son called Eric?" I asked still shocked.
"You insisted we call him Eric after I killed him." Blake's face heated in anger. "I saw this moment to. When you came to me. He followed you, denied he was cheating on you with that pack slut. You stood by him, but I showed you the truth and your heart broke. So, I broke him." He growled walking towards me. The couple behind us deep in the throws of passionate sex. If all this was true, I would be happy with Blake, wouldn't I?.
Closing my eyes. We were transported to another bedroom, smaller and more feminine. My heart was hurting. The all-to-familiar pain burning in my core. I stood in front of my bed. Eric and Tatiana tangled in each other's arms. I broke down, the pain ripping into me.
"See what happened when you left to find me this morning?" Blake's soft voice sounded in my ear. I closed my eyes as the tears ran down my cheeks. He stood behind me, holding me.
"This isn't true, its just a dream…" I cried out.
"Darling, in a dream you wouldn't feel the pain. You feel it don't you?" He turned me away from Eric's sordid acts on Tatiana as I nodded my head.
"He's doing this right now. He only wanted you because you're carrying his son. That's all he wants." He pressed my body into his as I cried.
"But…but I love him." I wailed and Blake's body stiffened.
"He doesn't love you… but I do." Blake bent down and captured my lips with his. The sensation sent tingling through me. It wasn't the same sensation I felt with Eric, but it was the beginning of something.
The kiss transported us back to the clearing before I broke away breathing heavily. The pain was still burning, and I fell to my knees clutching myself. Blake knelt next to me before pulling me into his lap. He gently rocked me, trying to sooth me, hushing me, and telling me it would be over soon. I leant into him, praying to the Moon Goddess to make the pain go away.
Part of me believed Blake, while another part desperately tried to fight for Eric. Everything Blake said was potentially true. I knew that Eric wanted a son. I knew, through Luke that Eric hated Tatiana was pregnant with a girl. Maybe Blake was right, maybe all this was just for show. But why tell me he loves me when he wanted someone else as his Luna? Were my dreams in fact premonitions?
The pain eased away but the ache in my heart stayed. Anger boiled within me. I wanted nothing more than to find them and confront them. I stood up letting the rage burn through me. Blake smirked. He knew what I wanted.
Go to Tatiana's old house. They'll be there. Less chance they'll be caught. He said through his thought projection.
I took off towards some of the cottages that were situated on the edge of the little town. Luke had pointed out her old house. She felt sorry for Luke, he deserved so much better than a mate like Tatiana and a friend like Eric. I hoped he would find happiness with Rhea.
I stood outside the double story cottage. The angry waves lapping at my heart. I kicked the door down and marched inside. If I hadn't been so angry, I would have thought the cottage was cute. It defiantly had a feminine touch with pinks, reds and creams splashed around the walls and furniture. A slim carpeted staircase led upstairs, and I could hear noises coming from a room. I climbed the stairs, two at a time and marched towards a door I could hear giggling and laughing coming from. I kicked that door down as well and marched inside. Sitting up in the pink double bed was Eric and Tatiana. They weren't shocked at my discovery of their deceit. They glared at me before Eric smirked.
"Well looks like you finally figured it out." He snickered. Tatiana smiled a sickly-sweet smile and winked at me.
"How could you do this to me…to your unborn son?" I screamed at them.
Eric shrugged his shoulders. "Don't really care. Now piss off." He turned and lay kisses on Tatiana's lips.
Tears stream down my cheeks as I watch the passionate display of affection. "Know Eric I'm doing this to save your life." I turned away focusing on my ragged breathing.
I mind linked him sorry I couldn't be what you wanted. I will always love you. I used the growing power within me and built a wall within my mind. I pushed hard to reach Dove and put her behind the wall to protect her from the pain. I then encased my heart in a shield.
"Why are you still here?" Tatiana's voice sounded from behind me.
"To do this… I Sophie, rightful Alpha of the Golden Sun Pack and Future Luna of the Blue Moon Pack reject the Blue Moon Pack and all its people as is the wish of the Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack."
As soon as the words were spoken my arms swung out causing a volt of power to shot out. It pushed Eric and Tatiana flat on their backs. They were out cold. Car alarms sounded from outside, a few screams and wailing. Did I do that?
I took off down the stairs. Outside looked as if a bomb had exploded. Glass littered the street, bins had been knocked over, panels ripped from houses. I didn't know my own strength. But I knew exactly who did.
I walked back towards the grove of trees. Waiting for me was Blake. His smile lit up his face. I remained cold and heartless. I couldn't let my emotions back in just yet.
"That was amazing." Blake said lifting me up and spinning me around. "You and I are going to be unstoppable." He placed me back on the ground and cupped my cheek. He smiled looking deep into my eyes before planting his lips on mine. I let myself go and relaxed into him answering his hungry kiss.
Pulling back, I sighed. "Let's go home…mate."
