MEETING DENNISE'S MALE VERSION (LEIRA)

What else can Leira say but her mom had successfully had her vanilla hair rebonded and put makeup on her face that she can't even recognize herself. Although, she can't deny that she actually looked pretty in a dress, the first time for her to wear it. Her tanned skin shined against the red and bodycon dress. Her body shaped undeniably nice. Since she was tall, even taller than Dinnese, she suddenly looked like one of those models she saw on television.

She actually loves to stare at herself in a mirror. However, the high heels she wore were painful, and it's killing her midcalf and the side of her feet.

All she can imagine is how painful it is for Dennise, who seemed to have been wearing high wedges that seemed to be the whole day. She can't even bear the pain when she just has to wear it for dinner.

She has to go on as what her parents wanted her to do right now. However, she still has a plan. The plan, which of course, marrying whoever this man is, was out of it. She just has to be good with her parents, pretend, but slowly but surely, she will have to find ways to get rid of this wedding that she arranged for them. She was still dependent on them for all her needs, basic or even leisure. Now that she met Dinnese, she planned many luxurious vacations for the two of them or perhaps with friends. Since that will be the perfect moment for her to propose and speak out to Dennise about her feelings about her, she needs her parents for that.

She will find ways that her parents won't take that luxurious life for her, not unless she earns herself. Yet, not the way her parents want her. She wants to do blogs, travels to places. She hasn't done that yet. She wasn't that inspired, and she actually needed someone to be with when she was doing that.

Now that she found that someone, which is Dennise. All she needs to do now is prepare for that magical moment. To travel the world with her and do blogs or even vlogs. She already found the perfect girl to focus her lenses on, and all she needed to do was prepare for that moment.

Her contemplation was distracted when her mom's phone rang. They were already sitting inside the backseat of her mom's white Fortuner car, and she was sitting beside her.

She felt luckier this noon that she got in the kitchen and felt her stomach of what she believed was even actually a real food than the variety of salads her mom prepared for her.

Suppose Leira had not only eaten in the kitchen and with the long hours staying inside the salon. Her stomach now probably was grumbling as loud as the mount Taal that was about to erupt.

"Hello...Oh, he's already there. Oh, my gush… we should not let him wait," Leira's mom covered her phone as she talked to the driver. "Sylvester, the visitor was already waiting in the house. Move a little faster, will you?" Her mom's voice sounded a bit tense while she was talking to her driver. Which suddenly changed completely the moment she talked back to her phone.

"Oh dear, I'm sorry, we kept you waiting, but we are actually on our way, just a few minutes more."

Leira right then guessed that her mom was already talking towards the visitor, the guy that she was about to meet a few moments later.

Her mom's driver, Sylvester, dropped them in front of their vestibule before he parked the car in the garage.

Her mom's steps were fast as she went up towards the entrance. While Leira trudged behind her, praying that hopefully, she can convince this man not to marry her. Her mission was not to impress him but for him to be disgusted or discouraged by her, in a way or another.

Everyone's eyes were on her the moment she got into the door. Like she just had a dramatic entrance vibe that moment. Which is supposed to be out of her league.

Her eyes darted straight to the man who just wore a simple short sleeve polo and jeans. That's not actually what she had been expecting. She expected to see a man in a boring suit and not someone, who was wearing as casual as denim jeans.

He was not the typical rich person, she remarked inside her brain. However, it's not part of her plan to talk a single word to him. She wanted him to bore himself, just talking to her parents or not talking at all.

"Well, Denver, this is my daughter Leira," Leiras's father pointed his hands towards Leira, and Denver slowly turn around to look at him.

Leira was a little agape with how he looked. He was handsome, and he looked like was just a few years older than her. When her parents mentioned that he was more than ten years older than her. But what surprised her more was that he had similar features to Dinnese. That, a thought came suddenly in her mind that if he was only a girl. She would undoubtedly marry him, and all her problems would go to the trash.

He had an almost perfect semblance with Dinnese, just like the Dinnese, but male version. He's handsome, and that's the problem. Because what Leira wanted is someone pretty, not handsome. She rather has the girl version of him.

Leira never thought that she could be in bed with a man, simply imagining it would give her goosebumps. The two of them might even vibrate while watching cheesecake and ogle together with it. But, with each other?

Leira shook her head with a slight grin that made all the people around her wonder.

"Leira?"

Leira returned to the present word, and away from her daydreaming after, she heard her mom's questioning voice.

"Oh, hey, nice to meet you, bro," Leira abruptly got back to her senses and unwittingly took the guy's hand and shook it.

He simply chuckled in response and "cool."
