They got inside the house, and Dennise took out another bottle of wine and heated some food in the oven. They were ready to have a simple and unexpected date. However, both of them knew that it wouldn't be a date like how they expected date could be. Eric knew his purpose for being there. To accompany and be a crying shoulder for Dennise.

While Erik roamed curiously inside the house, he almost stumbled and stepped on the shattered glasses on the floor.

"Whoa, what happened here?" He asked Dennise.

"Well, that's just me, overthinking that I am alone in this world, especially during hideous moments like this." She answered while putting two wine glasses and a bottle on the center table.

"I'm sorry for that, but it's unacceptable. What could be their reason for eliminating you in that pageant?" Eric, remarked.
