GUILT AND PAIN

"I loved doing this before. I laid my head on his arms, and I moved closer to his chest because I like to hear the rhythm of his heartbeat. It was the most relaxing sound for me. It was the best music that could always make me sleep. But, but…" Zara stopped between her words and whimpered. "That music is gone. I couldn't hear it anymore, and it was me who turned it off," Zara continued.

But then, her expression suddenly changed. She looked over Dennise with a dagger eye. Dennise didn't bother to be worried about it at first. However, she noticed and started being uncomfortable with it.

Dennise tried not to be bothered with it and walked away. The last time she saw that look from Zara was when she caught Zandro and her in the old mansion, having sex.

"It was your fault, Dennise!"
