Aectaeon looked at the sword, sighing in relief as he saw that it was still in one piece.
"Now, I'm really in trouble. I doubt that this sword can pierce its head."
While contemplating, Aectaeon counted the arms of the irregularity. Thereafter, he tried to recall how many arms Merlon had. Unfortunately, he couldn't remember Merlon's other form that well. Thus, he just gave up and focused on the irregularity afore him
"There's a total of twenty-six arms. Although they're slender, those arms pack a power." Aectaeon began massaging his abdomen, "My stomach is still hurting. Damn that creature."
At that point, Aectaeon took a deep breath to calm himself down. He could feel his blood starting to rush to his head.
With his eyes closed, Aectaeon went back to his rumination.
'Merlon's wooden head was easily pierced by the knife I used. But this level 2 is clearly sturdier. Should I use explosives?'
