Yulervan and Garant gave each other a curious look.
In that one time they concurred with each other's sentiments, the two men got on their feet and quickly caught up with Aectaeon.
As they exited the tavern, they breathed plenty of air. It was quite suffocating inside the tavern, considering that it didn't have proper ventilation. The tavern was squeezed in between two skyscrapers, making it difficult to conduct modifications.
"Meister Vali, are we going to the headquarters now?" Yulervan asked, "If so, should we take the train instead?"
Aectaeon just nodded his head without looking at Yulervan. He was in a state where he was far too absorbed with his thoughts. Whenever Aectaeon was like that, he wouldn't pay attention to anything else. He wouldn't even notice if he was in the middle of the road, about to be hit by a car.
Like the situation he was in at the moment.
