Aectaeon need not deliberate about the change in their rule. Targeting one Demon at a time would only lead to a boring battle.
At that point, Aectaeon didn't feel the suffocation of seeing his Demons get attacked. He was back to his old self -- the one who was nonchalant about what was happening around him. The one who opposed the flow, following his pace like it was his God.
"Sure, let's do that then."
Vernos nodded, satisfied at the man's answer. Although, he had the urge to ask why Aectaeon seemed to be fine with the new arrangement. As he had seen earlier, Aectaeon ought to be angered by what he had proposed.
'What's with the change of heart? Is it because he's guilty?' Vernos then inhaled sharply as he tilted his head to the side, 'That doesn't seem to be it. What's wrong with him? Is this his plan from the start?'
