The Obelisk: 3rd Return (9)

Aectaeon was now sweating buckets. His gaze was also unfocused.

Out of all the written exams he had taken, this question was the hardest of them all. Bear in mind, he managed to pass the entrance examinations of all the universities belonging to the most prestigious league in the world.

And he passed effortlessly with exemplary results.

But now, Aectaeon was stuck.

Truth be told, he had an inkling that a few questions would be related to his battle with Vernos Hanom. He denied the possibility that the number of turns would be one of the questions.

It was simply absurd to ask when a particular panel had appeared. The battle spanned for so long that Aectaeon barely remembered the specifics. He remembered the conversation with Vernos rather than the proceedings of the battle.

Even if he didn't want to yield a single mistake, Aectaeon's mind would blank out whenever he tried to think about the question.
