56. Breaking The Rules

A month has passed since Ariadne appointed Alice as a mistress.

There must have been many surprising comments from the servants and the villagers. All of them were unaware of Ariadne's decision to give a concubine to the king.

But all the servants and the citizens who heard it surely could not argue. All decisions are in Ariadne's hands.

Everyone was just surprised. Why would Ariadne give a concubine to Avery? Ariadne has not been pregnant and has not given birth to her own kingdom.

Everyone also worries that the crown prince will be born out of a concubine's stomach. In the opinion of all citizens it's a very scornful thing for the royal family.

The crown prince must be born from the queen's stomach. Not from a concubine's stomach.

A month goes by makes Ariadne feel a little at ease. Though she only met Avery at mealtime.
