Jealousy 3...

Andrew's mouth fell open...

"Wha...!" But before he could complete his sentence, Martha cut him off as she said;

"Scream again...!" Martha sternly said.

Andrew 's mouth was left open as she spoke.

"Just one more one, once more, and I'd stop..!" She said sternly.

Once she said that, Andrew zipped up his mouth and kept quiet...

Allowing Martha to continue...

"So when he asked me that question...I was hesitant at first, but later I answered...!"

"What did you say, what did you say, come on tell me...!" little Andrew screamed out.

"Shhhh...gentle, you'd wake everyone one up...you don't want to get in trouble with your Father now, do you?" Martha asked as she tried to tell him to lower his voice.

Adjusting himself to get closer, he said;

"Oh, I'm sorry...!"

After some time, Martha turned her head away as she continued;

"So when I stood in front of the King, I am not going to lie...I was shivering...!" she said she wrapped her arms around her shoulder and shook violently.

Little Andrew laughed.

Martha smiled.

"I shook like literally...violently!" Martha added as she looked left and right in a frightful manner as if checking if the King was nearby.

Andrew laughed.

"Okay...Okay!" Martha said.

"Or else I'm not going to say anything else...!"

Then frowning slightly as she rolled her eyes up and pouted, she murmured;

"Before I say something and you laugh at me the more...it's not going to work!"

Little Andrew stopped laughing as he looked up at her.

When she turned her head, he quickly looked away as he cleared his throat as he said;

"Sorry...!"

"So I stood in front of him, all shaky and jittery...and he must have noticed my fear, so he calmed me down saying... 'What's your name young girl?' He first asked...!" Martha said.

"When he asked I stammered 'M...Martha y...you're high...h...hi...highness...!" But before she could complete that part, little Andrew had already burst out laughing.

"Hahahahahahaha!"

His laughter was so loud, Martha guessed it would have resounded throughout the Castle's halls.

She was afraid that everyone in the castle would wake up and that she wouldn't be able to accompany Andrew anymore and tell him stories.

So she shushed him one more time...

"Shhhhhhh...keep it down, keep it down, you'll wake everyone else in the castle...!" Martha warned.

Though, he heard her warning, he still did not stop laughing.

Raising his hands to his mouth, he chuckled;

"Hahahaha...sorry!"

When Martha had known within her that the laughter of Andrew was lowered, she gave out a sign of relief as she looked up and mouthed;

'Thank You God...!'

Then, lowering her head to look down at Andrew, she found him to be watching her silently...

"Why were you peeping?" She asked as she brought her face closer to his, her eyes narrowed.

"Were you thanking God again?" Little Andrew asked.

Martha frowned.

Bringing her face back up, she asked;

"Again?"

"When have you seen thank God before...?"

"Countless times, especially when you're alone in the kitchen...!" Andrew said.

Martha frowning as she couldn't stop her mouth from falling open...

"H...How...when have you...how do you...do you always follow me wherever I go?" Martha couldn't help asking.

Looking to the left, Little Andrew replied in a low voice;

"Maybe...!"

Before he could finish, Martha gasped.

"Oh My God...!"

Her hand flew to her mouth.

'That means only one thing too...!'  She thought.

But little Andrew beat her to it.

"And no stop thinking whatever you're thinking, I don't...I have never, no, no, no, please stop!" He said denying something as he waved his hand in the air.

Smirking, she said;

"I was only joking...!"

Sighing in relief, little Andrew placed his left hand on his chest to calm himself.

Nodding, he was all;

"Okay...okay...!"

Martha just watched on with a smile on her face...

When he was calmed down, he was quiet for a while, before asking;

"So? Then what happened?"

As he spoke, she watched him with a smile on her face, when he asked the question, she looked down at her dress as she shook her head.

"Why'd you do that?" Little Andrew asked.

"Then when I was asked my name...!"

"And you told him!" Little Andrew cut in to say.

Looking at him with a stern expression on her face, little Andrew smiled nervously as he hid his face.

"He was quiet for a while, and then, looking at the food and then back at me, he pointed at it and then slowly asked; 'are you the who made this food?'..." She narrated as she continued.

As she narrated, little Andrew poked his head out from under the blanket to listen to her.

"And then what was your reply?" Little Andrew asked as he looked at her, his eyes widened as if he knew she had down something wrong.

"Well, I answered of course...!" As she answered, she raised her head up to looked at him, but she was surprised to find him staring at her with widened eyes.

"Ahhhhh!!!" She screamed.

At first, little Andrew was startled when he heard her scream, but later on, he began laughing at her as he pointed at her.

"Why are you laughing, it's not funny...!" She said, but all what she got was a resounding laughter from little Andrew.

Hitting his hand as he pointed at her;

"Ow...!" He yelled.

"Stop pointing, young Prince, that's bad manners... pointing at a lady's a bad omen...!" Martha said as he scolded him.

But she was cut short.

Placing his hands on his tiny waist, little Andrew pointed his chin at her and pouted as he said;

"Hmph! But I'm the Prince...!" But he was cut short.

"The fact that you're the Prince and your parents are the King and Queen doesn't guarantee you act ill-manneredly...it'll affect the name of the Kingdom and of their's...!" Martha cut in to say.

With that being said, little Andrew's shoulders dropped as his hands fell form his waist with his head slowly being lowered.

"Not only would it affect the name of the Kingdom and theirs, but it'll also affect 'mine' too...!" Martha said as she pointed at herself.

Andrew furrowed his brows.

"You?" He asked.

"What do you have to offer?" He asked.

Martha's head snapped as she looked at him sharply, making little Andrew gulp, afraid.

Slowly, she asked;

"First of all, what have I taught you about manners?"

Andrew couldn't reply as he gulped and slowly pulled the blankets up to cover half of his face.

"And secondly, what do 'I' have to offer?" She asked as she scoffed and turned her head to the side.

"Who do you think would have time for you? To listen to a your pleas and complains? The King?" She first asked.

After some time she added.

"Even of it's the Queen you know pretty well that she doesn't have time for you...!"

Pointing at him, she said;

"You had better control your tongue young Prince...!" She warned first of all.

"Or else you'd get a beating!" She added.

That had little Andrew gulp as he shook a bit, out of fear.

"That's why it's the responsibility of 'we' the maids, to ensure that you are being trained and brought up well with a reputable character...I don't even know why I was being assigned to you anyway...!"

Martha said that last part intentionally so as to study his expression.
