He knew that the young student called Eylon had a high-quality Florist occupation. With this knowledge, he wanted to gamble and expose the fact that he had unscathed Nightshade flower roots.

Even unscathed [Trash] quality Nightshade flower roots were worth 50 gold coins at the bare minimum while [Common] ones were worth more than 300 gold coins.
