The long lines on the hallway were now empty providing the two groups ample space to walk from side to side freely.
A piece of soft and mellow music was played on the speakers. Then the laughter and playful yelling from the remaining audiences on the bleachers were the only distinct noises that can be heard inside the gymnasium.
Joey and Stephen's heads moved along with the rhythm of the music background. Their hands would sometimes sway on the air if the beat changed to a more fast-paced one. The two clearly enjoyed pop music as if they were in their own world.
While the two were immersing themselves in the music, Clark was still holding Claire's wrist despite the lady secretly throwing glares at him.
"Let go of me, Clark," Claire continued to subtly demand that her wrist be free. But the boy had turned deaf to her plea. While his right hand was holding her, his left hand was also busy scrolling on his phone.
