This was what Himari had never thought would be known to her.
Teacher Masuda and the film emperor, Ishizaki Ryuu, were staying inside the sickbay together and it seemed like they had known each other well.
Or, rather, the relationship between the two of them was not something simple.
"Teacher Kato, this... Actually, I..."
"Cough!"
Yuina and Himari both looked at Ryuu who was coughing awkwardly. He regained his calm state of mind. Ryuu took a step forward, stood next to Yuina and reached out a hand to hold one of her palms.
With his eyes trained on the woman who his wife called Teacher Kato, he opened his mouth to speak.
"Your surname is Kato? Hello, I'm Ishizaki Ryuu, the husband of Masuda Yuina."
It was not only Himari who was surprised but Yuina as well. She stared at her husband in disbelief.
"Ryuu! What..."
Ryuu gave her a glance before looking back at the frozen Himari.
"There are some circumstances but, we are indeed married since years ago. Teacher Kato, I hope you would keep this matter to yourself."
Himari finally regained her composure. She blinked a few times. Her gaze darted from the calm and composed Ishizaki Ryuu to the panic-looking Yuina.
"That... I really didn't expect..."
Drip...
"...! Ryuu! You go out first! Let me talk to Teacher Kato!"
Before Ryuu could say anything, Yuina pushed him out of the sickbay. He had no choice but to leave now as well since the break time was almost over. He only came here to treat the wound on his arm, the one that he got for accidentally knocked a prop over.
"Riku? Where are you?" His voice sounded displeased as he made the call to his assistant, "Why aren't you guarding the door?"
While he was with Yuina inside the sickbay, they left Riku to be a lookout.
In the end, they were discovered by someone because that girl wasn't there!
"Brother Ryuu!" Riku sounded as if she was suffering, "I'm in the toilet! Huhu... My stomach hurts so much! I'll be back soon!"
"You..."
Tut!
Before he could speak more, the young assistant hung up. Ryuu almost cursed out loud. He glanced behind his shoulders, looking at the sickbay.
Could Yuina persuade the other party to keep silent or not?
Or, should he do something?
Urgh! This was his fault!
He could only treat the wound in the shooting set but, because his wife was here, he told the director to let him go to the sickbay. Then, he messaged Yuina to meet him there. Although Yuina was initially against the idea for fear of being discovered, she still came out of her concerns to him.
He had to admit that he was impulsive when introducing their relationship to the female teacher earlier but...
In truth, he really, really wanted to announce who Yuina was to him to the whole world.
It was just... He still didn't have the opportunity to do so.
While Ryuu was thinking of the matter, Yuina was helping Himari to disinfect her wound. Neither of them spoke of what had just happened a few minutes ago.
"Find a cream to treat the scar once your wound has healed," Yuina used a cotton bud to apply a layer of antibiotic on the wound after cleaning it up with water, "I'm sure you don't want a scar to be left behind."
"Hiss! ...I could cover it with my bangs," Himari hissed in pain once the antibiotic made contact with the fresh wound.
Yuina had shown it to her using a hand mirror. The wound was a horizontal line, almost two centimeters in length. The center part was quite deep where the blood flowed out.
"Even though you said that, but, girls would be distressed with scars on their face," Yuina smiled softly. She took a plaster from the first aid kit and gently apply it on Himari's wound, "People say scars are tattoos with better stories. So, what behind yours?"
"Being thrown a rock by a student?" answered Himari with a laugh.
"What?"
Yuina hadn't asked about why Himari got a small part of her head bleeding. To hear that it was caused by a student was shocking.
"Did he do it intentionally?" To Yuina, it was hard to accept that any student was really willing to injure the teachers.
Himari didn't answer immediately. Her eyes sank as she heard the question.
"Maybe it was due to a lack of judgment?"
She couldn't bring herself to say that a child like Yuuto really had the intention to harm her or anyone.
But, he still deceived a little girl like Chiharu to lure Izumi to him. Aside from thinking that Yuuto did that to exact revenge regarding the last fight, Himari didn't have other excuses.
But, the way he looked after he threw the rock at her kept flashing in her mind.
"Ah, I think I have to go now. The principal might need me to see the parents," Himari lightly pressed on the plaster.
"Be careful. If you feel dizzy, don't force yourself to keep moving. You should rest early today," said Yuina softly.
"Thank you, you know, for treating me," Himari let out a chuckle. Then, her expression changed a little, "Teacher Masuda, about earlier, I would keep it to myself. So, don't worry."
Yuina was flustered. She almost forgot about Himari had seen her with Ryuu.
"About that... thank you too," Yuina smiled faintly. She didn't know how to describe her feelings now.
"It's shocking but, I won't ask more. It's your privacy but, just be careful. Your husband's fans are everywhere in this school."
Both of them thought of Teacher Sagami and her clique.
"Okay," Yuina burst into laughter.
Himari waved at her, getting ready to leave. Yuina waved at her back with a smile curled up on her lips.
What happened earlier in the sickbay was a secret between them.
While Himari walked along the hallway heading back to the disciplinary room, she clasped both of her hands together in an attempt to calm herself.
Even though she appeared so composed in front of Teacher Masuda, in truth, Himari was so overwhelmed by the fact that Teacher Masuda was Film Emperor Ishizaki Ryuu's hidden wife!
She knew that Teacher Masuda was already married but, to know that her husband was the man that she had only seen on the screens and in the magazines was too exciting!
There were no rumors about Ishizaki Ryuu's marital status. Fans had always assumed he was a single man but... he was already married!
Calm down, calm down, Himari.
Himari managed to control her pounding heart by the time she arrived at the disciplinary room. She knocked it first before being allowed in by the disciplinary teacher.
"Teacher Kato, how's your wound?"
There was only the disciplinary teacher inside.
"I'm good, thanks for asking," Himari answered. Her gaze was swept across the room, "Has everything been settled?"
"Yes. Thank goodness, it was settled amicably," The disciplinary teacher heaved a sigh, "It's shocking indeed. President Kasai asked us to relay his apology on behalf of his son to you. He said if you wanted to check yourself in the hospital, you should contact his secretary. He would arrange everything for you."
"There's no need. It's just a simple wound. It would heal in a few days," Himari quickly objected to the offer. It was too exaggerating.
Since everyone had left, there was nothing else Himari could do. She took the bag that she put in the disciplinary room and said goodbye to the disciplinary teacher.
"The principal said you don't have to come tomorrow. Just rest at home for one day. See it if you'd feel dizzy or your head hurting again."
Although it was unnecessary, Himari was still glad about the offer. She was grateful because the school cared about the teachers.
Himari headed to the gate. Most students had left by now. When she walked past the gate, the corner of her eyes fell on a familiar man standing on the left.
Her feet stopped.
"...Kazuya?"
That man was leaning against his car. With his head lowered, she couldn't really see his expression.
At the sound of his name, Kazuya lifted up his head. His eyes flickered once he saw her.
"Himari!"
Before she could walk to him, he already ran to her. His entire face was anxious as he scanned her from head to toe.
"Chiharu said you got hurt. How's your wound? Has it been treated properly? Do you want to go to the hospital?"
"Ah, no, no, there's no need!"
Himari was overwhelmed by the series of questions threw at her by him. She quickly shook her head.
"My wound is just small. I don't feel woozy. It's okay, really."
Himari brushed her bangs away, showing the plaster that covered the wound. Even so, Kazuya didn't look convinced.
"Are you sure?" He asked again, "Why don't we go and check. What if you have a concussion?"
"It's just a small wound. Don't be too worried," Himari laughed as she felt the situation was funny, "I just want to go home and sleep right now."
Seeing that she was adamant about her condition, Kazuya could only drop the subject.
"Alright. But, if you feel bad later, it's better to go and check. You can call me, en?" He said seriously.
The firmness of his voice didn't put Himari off. Instead, she was caught in a daze for a moment.
He didn't have to be too concerned about her...
"Okay."
Even so, she smiled at him as she agreed.
Kazuya's expression softened at the sight of her smile. The corners of his lips curved up.
"Come on, let me send you home," He pointed at the car with a lift of his chin, "You shouldn't walk all the way home. And it would cost money if you grabbed a cab."
Himari laughed as she followed him, "Alright. Thank you."
