He went towards the unconscious woman and shook her to wake her up.
He had hoped that she could be able to deal with the invisible opponent, but who knew that after she woke up and seeing his face made her utter a shrill scream and pass out again?
He was speechless but was still vigilant all this time as he was carefully examining his surroundings hoping to find the traces of Aaron, but he could not see anything at all, this made him feel depressed and anxious.
He was about to shout for Aaron's name when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his neck, he was shocked. He had also received notifications for this.
[ You suffered catastrophic damage! ]
[ You are inflicted with < Bleeding > status. The player would lose 10 HP per second if the wound is left untreated. ]
He stumbled backward, he slowly reached towards his numbing neck, he felt gushes of blood coming out of his neck down to his robe then finally they accumulated to a small pool of blood below his feet.
He was initially confused about what had suddenly happened but then he instantly felt fear towards his looming death.
He had no idea what would happen to him if he were to really die inside the game, would his brain get fried or would he go back to his body normally? He thought of his family, which might be waiting for him back home.
'Mom, Dad, Saf, I..'
Those were his last thoughts before his vision was filled with darkness, then he dropped to the cold, hard floor.

Aaron slowly materialized out of thin air.
He looked towards the tragic sight of the azure-haired youth lying in his pool of blood.
He did not feel anything about this. He thought that it was his duty to eliminate the person that would be of threat to him.
He had enough reasons to kill Mirage, first was his possible reinforcements, the second was he knew his name and could possibly track his organization, lastly was his potential.
He may become a threat to their organization in the future so he thought that he needed to kill him immediately before he had the time to grow up.
He had witnessed the talents of this youth firsthand so he knew very well that he would become very strong in the future if no accidents were to happen that is.
He could not offer recruitment as he had just gotten out of their organization and was not permitted to divulge any information related to the organization.
He could also not do that as his brain would immediately blow up before he could utter the name of his organization.
He diverted his attention away from the dying Mirage, he looked towards the still unconscious Qianna.
"Don't blame me for this, you are the necessary material for the greater cause of the.." he said, no one was able to hear of what he had said on the latter part.
He slowly walked towards her, not noticing that the floor below the blood-soaked body of Mirage was slowly absorbing his blood, with the hall emitting a low light as time passed.
At first, it was still barely noticeable, but over time it obviously lit with light, that even Aaron had noticed. He suddenly turned vigilant on what was happening, he turned his head to examine the hall but the bright light suddenly intensified thus he was forced to painfully close his eyes.
Within the light, a faint outline of a woman could be seen floating silently above the blood-soaked Mirage.
The lights in the hall were being slowly absorbed by this faint outline of the woman, the lights seemingly helping her to materialize on the surface.
Though no one was able to see this as Mirage was on the verge of dying, while Qianna was unconscious and Aaron was temporarily blinded by the fierce bright lights.
The first to materialize was her pair of feet unblemished by a single speck of dust, next was the pair of legs they looked plump and soft, after that was the upper and lower body, though it was covered by the bright lights, one would still be able to see that she had an extremely attractive figure just based on the vague outline of her bouncy peaks and hourglass body.
The slender arms and crane-like neck followed next, they were as flawless and as smooth as her legs.
The head, face, and hair were the last to materialize, and one would only be able to describe her beauty as ethereal and out of this world.
She was like a fairy that descended to this dust-filled world.
She had blue wavy hair that reached down to her waist, a pair of calm and serene blue eyes, she also had a gentle smile on her attractive red lips, her looks were like that of the gentle and caring big sister.
But one would still be able to feel the difference, as she had an otherworldly air around her that made her look unapproachable yet still look gentle at the same time, one would only be torn to choose whether to approach or not.
She waved her slender hands then a flowing blue dress appeared on her body, it was paired with sandals that complimented her blue dress perfectly.
A tiara then manifested above her head, it looked magnificent, as it silently floats above her, it made her look regal and authoritative.
The woman was precisely the statue depicted at the temple entrance, her name is Undine, The Great Water Spirit that governs the vast waters scattered around the whole of Dystopia.

After the bright light subsided, Aaron slowly opened his eyes, he examined his surroundings then he suddenly froze.
Above Mirage, floats an extremely beautiful woman, he had never seen such a beautiful woman.
But the thing is, although she looked calm and gentle, she exuded an unmistakably strong aura and was definitely not someone he could trifle with.
He was filled with unease and anxiously thought to himself.
'It's Undine! Why did she suddenly appear here? I thought that she was sealed away, so how could she come out of her seal so suddenly?'
His eyes darted around and finally landed on the unconscious body of Mirage.
All of the blood that accumulated beneath him was nowhere to be seen! As if it had disappeared into thin air.
'How could this be?! It shouldn't have disappeared so suddenly.. unless..'
He immediately came up with a strange thought that Mirage's blood had something to do with Undine breaking out of her seal.
But he wasn't too sure of how it had helped her, he could not come up with any reason no matter how much he thought about it.
Although Aaron did not know of the details, the one in question could not be said the same as she knew it herself very well.
She had been sealed for a long time already and the seal was slowly eroding with the long passage of time.
Her seal breaking is an inevitable thing that is bound to happen sooner or later, she assumed to herself that it would at most take a century or two for her to forcefully breakthrough.
She waited for so long already and did not mind waiting another century at all, she was thinking of this until she suddenly felt an ominous presence inside Mirage who had passed her trial.
Her interest was piqued as he doesn't look much strong yet he could have an ominous aura around him.
She continued observing his movements and she had even noticed Aaron who was sneakily hiding in the youth's shadow.
Her eyes were glued and witnessed them fighting with Qianna, after Mirage got wounded, she had purposely absorbed his blood to examine his constitution further.
Upon closely examining the blood, to her shock she had detected that his blood seemed to contain the characteristics of a devouring force, anything that touched that force would get absorbed and that force would get strengthened as a result.
She was shocked and was pleasantly surprised by this discovery so she tried leading a drop of blood on her seal, she was hoping that the blood could devour the seal on her as well.
The drop of blood landed on it and the seal that had remained dormant for years, that had locked her for a long time, had suddenly emitted shrill sizzling sounds, she was elated by this so she had used all of the blood she had absorbed but it was not enough.
She was anxious as she did not know if she would get more blood from him, but her restlessness did not last long as he had indeed given her more blood to use.
She enthusiastically absorbed all of the blood that he gave out and frantically used those buckets of blood to corrode her seal until it finally reached its limits and broke apart with a silent bang.
She was extremely excited that she had finally regained her freedom, she couldn't almost control herself from loudly shouting "I'm Free!".
But she held herself back from doing this as there were still people around her, she slowly breathed in and out to relax.
