Chapter 82 : One chance to break them.

Lloyd scratched his head furiously, looking at the floor [ I can't think of anything ] He sighed as he looked around, " Maybe I'm not thinking hard enough ". Odette who wasn't too far away couldn't help but smile, " Maybe you're over thinking it ".

He sighed in defeat, looking at her " I feel like I'm not thinking enough ". She said something to Asher and walked up to him, sitting with him " You're not very outgoing, are you "?

He squinted slightly, obviously confused " I'm not seeing where this is going ". She shrugged looking at him calmly, " You're teaching gym and training, it might be a lot like the work you normally do ".

He frowned slightly, " But what I normally do is dangerous and not many of these kids can handle it ". She giggled, fisting her hands " That's why you're here....to break them and remold them ".

He flinched slightly, surprised by her words and then she stood up to leave. She suddenly put a thoughtful finger to her lips, " But Bryan's not into that kind of stuff, so you'll only get one chance ".

She was back by Asher's side soon enough and he nodded to himself, " One chance to break these kids ". He smiled slightly, already getting an idea " Why didn't think of that earlier "?

George wasn't upset about Chase, he'd ignored the boy his whole life so he didn't expect much good to come out of him. But his other grandchildren, -Erica and Salem- he was furious with.

The only thing he hated more than liars and cheaters, were hypocrites [ How should I deal with this? And right under my nose no less ] He shook his head, looking up at the third year screens, " What to do? What to do "?

Byran suddenly laughed, " That was the last of em'. All done at your side "? Odette nodded, high fiving Asher " The first years are all done ". Hawk scratched his head lightly, " All ready ".

Byran nodded, looking at his watch " The kids this year are really something. It only took 'em thirty minutes too ". He spoke into the microphone and turned to Lloyd, back to his silly old self " Do you have something in mind Lloyd "?

He nodded with a slight grin, " I was thinking laser tag ". When the others looked worried, he quickly added " But not with real lasers off course ". Hawk suddenly scoffed, " I can't believe this ".

Byran laughed victoriously, running around the room doing a victory lap. It took a while but Odette finally calmed him down and he turned serious again, " I finally have a good reason to bring them out ".

They all looked at the screens, watched as the walls disappeared and a series of bulletproof vests and laser guns appeared. Asher scratched his head, obviously surprised and confused " I don't think they'll be enough ". Byran smiled smugly, pushing another button " Don't worry, we've got two thousand more ".

Rider rubbed his chin lightly, " That must cost a lot ". He looked up at Hawk curiously, " Exactly how much money does the school make "? Hawk who was still in a foul mood looked at him blankly, " You'll get an idea when you get your first paycheck ".

Byran looked at his tablet seriously, muttering to himself " We've got a thousand five hundred students this time. That's good, five hundred students per year.... ". After a while, he turned back to Lloyd " You're test, you're rules ".

He glanced at Odette who winked at him and he smiled, remembering what she said earlier [ I've got only one chance to break these kids ] " I guarantee it, it'll be fun ".
