Ch3: family and opportunity

A WEEK LATER-

Today is a very special; this is because, it will be my first time out of the house and it seems my parents will be taking me along for their visit to one of the magic squads in the crown kingdom.

Yes, the crown kingdom just like the clover kingdom and some other kingdoms have magic squads.

They're 13 of them, with their ranks being estimated by the number of missions they do much like the clover kingdom. Though it is an era of peace, it doesn't mean the world is crime free, though the 9 great kingdoms may not be causing any harm to each other, other kingdoms and foreign nations still cause trouble since we're not the only people existing here.

The 13 magic squads include:

Golden crowns

Hero Guild

Blue sky

Infinite chaos

Soul reapers

Wolves'court

Emperor Knights

Night owls

Dragon Claws

Saints

Unbreakable shield

White cloud

They were the 13 magic squads of the crown kingdom also known as 'the 13 crowns'. Today, my parents and I were headed to the hero guild, yeah am still a 1-year-old infant so my mom is carrying me in my arms. I realized that the hero guild was started by my ancestors, my mom and dad were once magic knights but soon later they retired, though my mom has gotten quite weak from given birth to me, my dad hasn't grown any weaker. I was told he was once a magic squad captain and he was very strong like yami. But he decided to quit some months before my birth.

Today we're headed to the hero guild squad for one reason; to see my uncle. He said he wanted to meet his cute nephew and also wanted my parents to meet his daughter. On our way there, I found out that my uncle is the captain of the hero guild, and he's only 25 so he's considered a genius, he uses 2 magic attributes; light and lightening, he's a rare talent to be able to use 2 attributes.

Soon later, I and my parents reach the hero guild headquarters; it‟s pretty big and in the middle of grassland. As we arrive, the gate-man immediately recognizes my parents and says "welcome sir and ma'am hero, the lord has been awaiting your arrival, please follow me" and he immediately leads us to the captain's office.

As we arrive, I notice a woman sitting at the corner, she has silver-colored hair, she looks very young and fair in complexion; she has light blue eyes. Seeing her, my mother hands me over to dad and hurries to hug her saying "oh Natalie, you are as beautiful as always" hearing this, the woman is shocked and she says "you give me too much praise, sister" then my mother looks around and asks "where's my cute little niece?" and immediately points at the window, my mother heads to see what she means and notices a man with dark hair, of average height about 172cm holding a baby while

swinging his sword he shouts "THIS IS YOUR FATHER'S COOLASS TECHNIQUE!!" seeing this, I notice my mother's hair is hiding her face and realize, 'she's angry' yeah this woman is pretty dangerous when angry, even my dad is trembling from seeing this and I just think 'Lord, have mercy on my uncle's soul'

My mother jumps through the window, and she punches my dear uncle while seizing the baby from his embrace, he flies a long distance until finally hitting a brick wall. My dad heads to the arena withmy aunt, we soon arrive and I hear my mother shouting at the man "you piece of shit, your wife just

gave birth and the first thing you do with your baby is show her your god forsaken magic, it seems I'll have to teach you MANNERS!" my uncle immediately gains his composure and bows with both knees on the ground while pleading forgiveness.

"hmmm" is all could be heard from my mother as she moves toward me with the baby I notice the babies, white hair and her silver-colored eyes, she looks like her mother, though much cannot be said as she's a child, my mother says "look yami, this is your cousin, treat her well" and the baby makes some cute noice

Then my uncle comes closer and looks at me. He laughs, says "which kind of demon did you give birth to this time" my father chuckles and says "haha, who knows he may be even better than you" "he seems to have more mp than his siblings" my father continues. Yeah I have 2 brothers and 1 sister but I've not met any of them. Then they keep on discussing; talking about things like uncle's recent missions; how life was and so on.

Soon, the sun sets and my parents decide to head back home.

We arrive home shortly and I immediately fall asleep 'being a baby sucks' is all I could think of as I fall asleep.

_4 YEARS LATER_

Today was an awfully normal day; births were hovering in the sky, fishes swimming in the sea; nothing out of the ordinary, but there was one thing everyone in the royal capital of Crown noticed and that was a very handsome boy was walking on the streets, wearing a long sleeve white shirt and brown trousers.

Anyone who saw him knew who he was; the genius 3rd son of the Hero house. He had light black hair

land golden colored eyes, he was of average height and was still a developing child but his beauty wasn't that of a child, his look mesmerized even the older women present in that city, he was far too

handsome.

Today, yami was very happy because he had finally reached the age of 4 and his parent had given him the right to go out and train, normally parents will refuse but with all the things yami had done, they

couldn't. Yami was a 4 year old; by the age of 2 he could already walk, talk and read fairly easily. He was a genius but what made him even more popular was that he had control over 3 elements, yes he had 13 elements but he could only manifest 5 so he showed 3 of them; light, lightening and teleportation. (the other 2 were darkness and fire)

His parents were shocked, their last son had so much potential and massive mp, so when he asked

them for permission, they couldn't refuse and immediately left him to handle himself.

'Finally I can go out and train. Well time to head to the rural forest' as he hopped his way to the forest that will now be his training ground.

I plan to make my mc op, he'll not be the kind that becomes op immediately but well by the time he becomes a magic knight, you can guess the rest. The next 2 chapters or so will still be about his youth then we shall skip to the magic knight exam. Thank you for reading!
