Krostkuden

Darknik was standing in the grass land as Kainik finished setting up a few robots. The robots were a glossy grey and had four arms, and three legs. Their arms were lanky and long but their legs were robust, and they had a cylindrical head with a few eyes made out of glass that shone with a dim orange light.

"There we go." Grunted Kainik as he brushed his hands on his pants, finished setting up the robots. "How do you think you should fight with a scythe."

"Well..." Darknik thought for a bit. "You should hit your enemies with heavy attacks that the enemy can't block and spin around sometimes, right?"

Kainik looked at Darknik as if he was stupid. "I wasn't expecting such a stupid answer but yeah, that's what most people think about using the scythe. But that is the crude way of using it. The way that your great grandfather, grandfather, me, and you will use is Krostkuden"

"Krostkuden?" Darknik asked confusedly.

"Yes, Krostkuden. Do you know how your grandfather, Kei, united the continent and became king?"

"He was strong right?"

"Yes, but why was he strong?"

"Ummmm..." Darknik started thinking hard, but he didn't remember reading or hearing about why King Kei was so strong.

"It's not magic." Began Kainik. "Not Klent or some other system of power. The reason why Kei was so strong, strong enough to defeat each leader of the continent and become the true ruler was because his scythemanship that his father, your great grandfather, created. And that scythemanship is Krostkuden.

Krostkuden was made by Krost, your great grandfather, and it doesn't revolve around heavy hitting or things like that. Instead, Krostkuden destroys the expectations that people have about scythes and does the opposite. Krostkuden uses light attacks and involves a lot of jumping, flexible movements, and deception.

Instead of a heavy scythe, us Krostkuden users use a light scythe. Why do you think your scythe is so light?"

"But I thought it was a heavy scythe, and I was just strong. If it isn't a heavy scythe, how am I able to cut through swords?"

"That's because the material used to create your scythe is high quality, and you also infused your Klent into your scythe. Anyways, watch closely, I'm going to show you how powerful Krostkuden is."

After saying that, Kainik took a controller out of his pocket and pushed one of the many buttons on it, then slid the dial on the left side all the way up.

All the robot's eyes shone with an evil red light, and many arms came out of their bodies, eventually becoming 25 arms on each robot.

"I put in on maximum difficulty, but you will be starting on the lowest difficulty. At the maximum difficulty, these guys can only move up to 150 miles an hour, and can crush easily kill more than 500 Sentourians, but I will lessen their speed so you can see what I'm doing."

After Kainik finished speaking, all of the robots rushed at him with a speed that Darknik could barely see. Kainik created a translucent tentacle that grabbed a plain light scythe that was an average quality weapon. With a total of 175 arms reaching for him, Kainik's body contorted in an unnatural angle as he weaved through the jungle gym of still moving arms, cutting off each one with his scythe that somehow didn't get stuck in between the arms.

None of the robots could touch Kainik as he toyed with them, killing them off one by one, until there was only one left. The last robot moved ten of its arms around Kainik, while the other 15 flew at Kainik at various different angles.

Kainik snorted, then grabbed the arm closest to him and pushed off of it, jumping up while also cutting off the arm. Since he was in the air and it didn't seem like he was able to dodge, the arms took the chance to attack him, including the arms in the surrounding area.

Using the arms flying at him at hand and footholds, Kainik dodged and twisted his way through the maze of arms, before finally pushing his legs against the final arm, zooming across the field to the last robot's location.

The robot hurriedly recalled its arms, but it was too late, as Kainik landed behind it and its head flew off in the next moment.

Looking at Kainik in awe, Darknik saw that he didn't even break a sweat, and he didn't even use a fraction of his power. It was this, this strength, that Darknik was looking for, even if he didn't know why yet.

"Ok." Said Kainik as he threw the scythe at Darknik, Darknik catching it before it could puncture his stomach. "Your turn."
