Aftermath \ Moms New man?

*Heyden's pov*

I woke up to light snores from a large figure submerged underneath the blanket.I was confused ,wondering who it was. My eyes widened in shock as memories from the previous night washed over me.I carefully removed some of the blanket covering the person next to me. I almost screamed when I saw Keith sleeping soundly,but managed to suppress it.

I quickly got up and grabbed my phone to check the time. "9:00 a.m. Mom wont be home for a few hours.' I thought to myself. I went to take a shower and brush my teeth.

When I came back into my room Keith was already awake and putting his stuff on.When he noticed me he smiled and said "Good morning, how did you sleep." I was stunned by how un-phased he was about this situation. "I- um, g-good Morning."I said mentally cursing myself for stuttering.He chuckled at my nervousness. "Well I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow",he said walking out of my room.I finally let out the breath I didnt know I was holding when I heard the door shut signaling that he left.

[Keith's pov]

I walked out of his house making my way home.When I got there I saw my car (he walked to the party cause it was close to his house)and another car that I did not recognize.I knew it wasn't my dads because he is still at his parent's house.

When I walked in the house my face dropped as I saw my mom laying on top of some half naked man while she was only in her bra and underwear. Before they could wake up I quickly ran to my room and shut the door.

[1 hour later]

i was just laying on my bed when I heard a knock on my door. Before I could answer some man had already walked into my room."Hey kid,ya mom said come eat."( Eric)The man said not even sparing me a second glance. Even though he was so far away I could smell the alcohol and Tobacco on his breath. I wasn't even hungry,I just wanted to know who this man was.

I groaned,rolling off my bed and continued to walk downstairs.When I got downstairs I cringed at the sight of my mom and this man kissing."Oh,Keith just in time !"my mom beamed when she finally noticed me."Whats going on.Who is he mom"I said not wasting any more time.

"Your gonna have to sit down for this keith."The man said. 'Who is this guy and whats so important about him.'I thought to myself.

I had witnessed my mom cheating on my dad a number of times ,but something about this man didn't seem right. Everytime my mom had a one night stand they would be gone right after,and I would never see them again.

"Go on." I said with an unreadable expression. "Well ,I wanted you to meet my new boyfriend,Eric,and your new step-father."My mom said. My face dropped immediately. "What the hell do you mean step-dad! Where is dad at!" I screamed.

I dont know if this is some type of sick joke but it isn't funny."Do not raise your voice at your mother young man!"Eric said."And who are you to tell me what to do your not my dad!!" I yelled. Something about this situation didnt sit right with me.

The 3 of us argued some more before my mom finally said, " Your father and I divorced! He didnt go to his parents house he went to live with his new girlfriend ! Be glad I didnt let him take you!" When she said that something inside of me snapped. " WHY THE HELL WOULD I BE GLAD IF YOU HAD ASKED ME I WOULD HAVE WENT WITH HIM. MAYBE THN I WOULDN'T HAVE TO HEAR YOU NAGGING ABOUT HOW IM WASTING MY LIFE!!!" when I said that I could visibly see the color drain frome my mother's face.

I didnt waste any time trying to let her speak and ran to my room. When I got to my room I packed some clothes into 2 bags and grabbed my hidden cash.

When I walked downstairs I could hear Eric coddling my mother,who was now crying, in the kitchen.I didn't want to waste any more time and quickly ran out of the house slamming the door shut behind me.

When I got into my car I heard my mother screaming after me, " NO! Come back Keith. PLEASE!" I could see she was crying,but all I wanted to do was get away.

[ 1 hour later ]

I cant tell how long I have been driving, but by the time I stopped I was in the middle of no where and my car was running out of gas.

Damn this sucks...
