Before death (part 2)

Raihan quickly turned around and walked inside. However, Edgar hesitated to go in because of the state of the house. But he felt a gentle push at his back from his father which gave him the confidence to walk in. as soon as he entered with his father they felt welcomed? The old house with its centuries settled foundations brought a feeling of welcome to them which was quite amusing to watch. When they turned around the corner Edgars expectation was shattered to smithereens. He expected to see a disrupted old floor and pictures, lots of dust and spider webs but instead, he only saw a normal house but not just normal but very well kept house. He kept going down the corridor with his father slowly following him.

Edgar: "Dad why is this house so well built and kept inside but it's horrific from the outside."

Father: " Raihan is quite skilful at building and restoring stuff so you should ask him why he hasn't bothered to fix it, but I guess it's easier to keep inside in good condition than trying to change the wall structure and he's probably too lazy to do it anyway."

When they reached the end of the corridor they saw a sign that said "Покои Принадлежащие Замечательному Мастеру Райхану! (Chambers Which Belong To Wonderful Master Raihan!)"All words were written with red ink and at the bottom of said sign, they could see a small text which said "Преклоните своё колено пред мной дабы почтить мое величие! ( You must bow your knee before me to honour my greatness!)"

Father and Edgar silently looked at each other for a few seconds and nodded at each other, deciding to ignore the sign and went inside his chamber. When they entered his office they both saw Raihan seating on his throne which was a massive red recliner and in front of him was an oak table which was missing all its original legs and instead had one in the middle on the other side of the table they could see... 2 stumps.

They could see three cups on the table, however, one of them was a wine glass which was polished and had a golden crown engraved on it as a decoration. Ather two cups were just normal teacups with something in them.

As soon as Raihan notices them entering his "Throne room" he instantly stands up and raises his glass and drinks some liquid from it before putting it back on the table. He sat back on his "throne" and quietly waited for them to sit down by the table. The room was well lit so it was easier to pick out his clothes but they couldn't see his face because of the mask on his face. He was wearing a grey fedora with a brown waistcoat which was made of canvas fabric with a white-grey shirt and a red butterfly tie which was tied in Ribbon, as well as dark-grey trousers. With pitch-black clown shoes?

Raihan: "Have a seat dear student and you, my friend"

Said Raihan while taking a cigarette out of his waistcoat pocket

Raihan: "So tell me Edgar why you and your father came to us on such a lovely day."

Edgar: "Sir are you sure you're okay?"

Raihan: "Yes… why are you asking us such a stupid question."

Edgar: "...."

Edgar: "You do know that it's only three of us in the room?"

Raihan: "THREE!!! NO NO NO NO NO!! It's not just three of us in my Chamber, it's actually 13 including us."

Father: " Don't try to delve into the meaning of his words, you'll just confuse yourself more. "

Raihan: "Ohhhh just look how serious and caring my friend Roe is, I guess we should have a drink for such an important moment!!"

Father "for you it's Ro..."

Raihan: "Anyway, Please help yourself with my holy water in those cups"

But before Edgar could take a cup of "holy water", his father covered it with his hand and took his time to take out a lighter. With a clicking noise, he ignited it. He slowly brought the lighted lighter up to the water. *pop*

Father: "Raihan why is water burning"

He asked with a red face and multiple tick marks on his head before taking a silver ashtray and putting it on the cup.

Raihan: "Because you just ignited it"

Father: "Huff, I guess I do need to use that technique on you. "

He whispered to himself but then quickly asked another question.

Father: "Ok do you have anything in here which doesn't have alcohol in it?"

After these words, the room became dead silent. If you listened silently you could hear the clock ticking or the water dripping from pipes. Raihan was slowly rubbing his chin making it look like he was trying to remember.

Raihan: "No" Replied Raihan casually.

Father: "Edgar please don't drink anything in this house until I come back with some water bottles."

Said Edgar's father as he walked out of the office. Edgar was a little bit shocked by this scene and decided to stay quiet and started to think of what Raihan will teach him. Will he teach him how to be a clown or something like that.

Raihan: "Edgar, Edgar, Edgar, E-D-G-A-R can you hear me!"

Edgar: "Huh, Oh sorry trainer I was just thinking"

Raihan didn't answer and just gestured to follow him. They came out of Raihan chamber and started walking down the corridor when they reached the end of the corridor Edgar could see two doorways one which led outside but instead of going there Raihan turned left and started to go up the stairs.

Edgar: "Sir aren't we going to train outside."

Raihan: "Just follow me"

Edgar quickly followed him up the stairs and into the big open room with a ring that had soft flooring on it.

Edgar: "Sir will you teach me how to hit or something else."

Raihan: "Edgar can you tell me what do you need to become a boxer"

Edgar: "Isn't it strong will, strength, stamina, your skill and how much you train"

Raihan: "Yes that is correct yet the reality is way harsher than you think, the truth is you only need 2 things and those two things are talent and money…. This might sound mean but you have none of that. We can still work and try to do something here but it will be highly unlikely for you to reach the very top… It might actually take your whole life to do soo."

Edgar: "I don't care." answered Edgar really quickly

Raihan: "!!!"

Raihan: "You do have a good determination but you will need more than that. Let's stop talking and enter the ring but before you do so put this on and take your shoes off and put more suitable ones on."

Edgar: "Trainer I was going to ask before but why are you wearing clown shoes?"

Raihan: "How would you feel if you were beaten by the person in clown shoes?"

Edgar: "oh,amm…. Probably humiliated."

Raihan: "Let's stop asking these useless questions and let us see what you are capable of, just attack me and I'll tell you where you should start from."

Edgar hesitated to attack head-on so he started to circle around Raihan while trying to come up with something. on the other hand, Raihan was simply standing there with his hand crossed and patiently waiting for Edgar to make a move. Suddenly he heard footsteps and a battle cry from Edgar coming his way.

Raihan: "Never shout or make lots of noise, it might sound stupid but actually it is really important because you're giving away your position."

While Raihan was pointing out Edgar's mistakes, he turned around and using his momentum did a low turning kick(from kickboxing) but purposely aimed it at has sheens so he could knock him down.

Author: " Most of low kicks aim either on tentacles above the knee or circa to the middle of opponent´s thigh"

Edgar was surprised by Raihan speed but he was even more shocked by the way he performed the kick because he believed that all kicks should be done when one fit or toe has a good grip on the ground, but what he saw was more like a ballerina dance. Raihan just used his big toe to spin around a few times before knocking Edgar down.

But before Raihan could try to help Edgar up he saw him do a roll and get back on his leg. Even though his shin was hurting he still tried to have a good stance. Currently, Edgar was in the high stance trying his hardest to protect his head with one hand and the second hand was a bit further out but still gave some protection. He put his legs at shoulder width and kept his hurt leg at the front and his good leg at the back.

Raihan: "I guess I did put on a little bit more strength than I originally planned but I have a few things I want to say. First and most importantly never do a roll in boxing or allow your knee to touch the ground, secondly, even though you got a good stance I wouldn't put all your weight on it, right now you took a painful hit if you know it was hard hit than try to dodge or even back away from the opponent to prevent another hit on the same leg or spot.

Edgar: " Ok"

Raihan: "You don't say Ok in this room, we will only accept yes sir. Do you understand"

Edgar: "Yes sir"

Raihan: "Great, now just do some light stretches and do take that armour off its not needed any more"

Edgar: "huh, but sir we just started"

Raihan: "That's the reason why I'm stopping you, I only wanted to see what you will do when you get a chance to attack and what will happen if it fails, will you defend or attack again. Don't forget it's your first time even trying to fight, take it easy and from tomorrow We'll teach you how to do some light and simple punches."

Edgar: "Sir why do you keep saying we"

Raihan: "because it's three of us in the room, isn't it Roe?"

Father: " How many times do I have to tell you not to call me Roe?"

Raihan: "You never did"

Father: "Forget it, Edgar we are going home here is your water and get your normal shoes on"

Edgar: "yes"

He replied while quickly taking his armour and training shoes off

Raihan: "You can leave your stuff here If you want"

Edgar: "Thank you, sir, see you tomorrow"

Raihan: "I take my words back… That does have talent and huge potential. The only thing is left is to polish him until he will shine like a diamond"

Whispered Raihan before slowly strolling back to his chamber.
